I do love having pierced ears and I love wearing ear rings, but I have to admit that losing one of a pair can be very frustrating and upsetting.
I usually wear a pair of Jensen silver ear rings. I bought them as a special present when I finally plucked up the courage to get my ears pierced - years ago now but Oh what an internal fight I had over that!
Chicken girl had nothing on me!
Any how I tend to wear them 24/7, except when I wash my hair or am going out and want something special.
About a week ago I woke up with one ear ring. Oh no - where has the missing one gone?
How I may have lost the ear ring need not be discussed here, nor should rude speculation be pursued :embarrassed:
Any how after stripping down the bed and berating the other person for being an unfeeling jerk; for some reason he got upset when I removed the bedding, just because he was sleeping in it didn't seem to me to be a reason to be obnoxious. I'd lost my ear ring!!!
Nothing.
I got a torch and looked under the bed.
Nothing.
Oh the torch? Ahh it was 2 am ::)
Still no reason to be obnoxious, I'd lost my ear ring!!!
I searched the house, for some reason I wasn't getting any help on this task.
Nothing.
I suggested going to his place and looking. For some irrational reason this was voted down. Men are weird.
No ear ring and a calm and even minded Cindy decided that there was no reason to prepare breakfast; my ear ring was missing so why eat?
A week goes by. I was being reasonable. I didn't see why he wouldn't pay for the private detective. He even said I was foolish for calling the Police. So did they. But it was a guy, bet he didn't wear ear rings.
Then I just happened to be taking all of the furniture out of the lounge, as you do. There it was, my ear ring. In the track of the sliding door going out to the patio.
He of course was unreasonable saying that there is no way he is responsible.
This could have been solved ages ago if Benedict Cumberbatch was living with me instead of him. For some reason he took offence to that.
So I'm sitting in bed watching Sherlock.
Alone with two matching ear rings.
Oh well!
It's not still in your ear is it?? ::) ::) >:-)

You can run - but you cannot hide!!!!
Hi Ms Grace
You are lucky that it did not Join the Three I have lost always from the same ear .I never noticed them going and never found them again .One that I lost had great sentimental value as the set was given to me by my sister the first time I went to see her after I transitioned . I was sick as a parrot to lose one of them .Maybe one day they will come up with a butterfly clip that wont come of when you don't want it too .I also have a mismatched colour set as I lost one of each from 2 sets of crystal studs in different colours
Giggle! I'm sure he'll get over it.
I wouldn't have had this problem. Sweetie loves Benedict more than I do. We would have a problem if he was living with us, though. She wouldn't share! Yes, I know I'm a lesbian, but, Benedict Cumberbatch!
