Title: Needing a little help
Post by: ErickaM on October 18, 2007, 07:57:29 PM
I found an Electrolytes and began sessions, we've had two sessions, one hour yesterday and an hour and half today.  Oh my God this hurts, today we even used topicaine gel and it still felt like she was peeling the skin off my face, some areas where num but some areas seemed  not be affected by the gel.  I know that almost every lady here has had to go through this and I was wondering is there anything available that works any better than topicaine.  Any help would be great, thanks. :icon_help:

Hello, Ericka,

There is likely nothing that an electrologist can use other than a topical anesthetic like the one being used on you.

Question:  Have you looked into other methods of hair removal?  They all hurt and none is very comfortable but I had light/heat energy transfer and it got all of the dark hair on my face.  It hurt when I was getting hit with a pules but I was fine in less than an hour.

Laser might be less painful for you.

After each LH treatment I used lots of aloe gel.

I hope that this helps.
