Title: Vitamins for active women. I need help to know about Lutein. For Pre-op and Post
Post by: Sheila_the_voice_within on April 13, 2016, 02:06:11 PM
Hello
I just bought some vitamins because I was suffering a lot of pain in the bones and in the cartilages, like feeling menopause symptoms,, I don't know what it is because I don't have knowledge or studies,
please can somebody say me if Lutein it is good or bad for a trans woman (Pre-op)?

The name of the vitamins-complex is "BioTechUSA Active Woman",
and its ingredients are:

calcium carbonate, bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose), magnesium oxide, ascorbic acid, DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, bulking agent: hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, CLA powder, thiamin mononitrate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, iron fumarate, d-calcium panthotenate, riboflavin, niacinamide, lecithin, DHA powder (from fish oil), L-arginine, L-carnitine, anti caking agents: magnesium stearate and stearic acid, Q10 coenzyme, cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon, 100% fruit), Panax ginseng (100% root), Ginkgo biloba (100% leaf), Spirulina powder, grape seed (Vitis vinifera, 100% seed), boron citric acid, fish collagen, methyl sulfonyl methane, zinc oxide, retinol acetate, hyaluronic acid, silicon dioxide, cholecalciferol, copper sulfate, manganese sulfate, chromium chloride hexahydrate, folic acid, sodium selenite, sodium molybdate, biotin, licopene, lutein, potassium iodide, zeaxanthin, vitamin K (phylloquinone), cyanocobalamin, coating (hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose, color: titanium dioxide).Biotin, iodine, niacin, riboflavin, vitamin A and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal skin. Selenium, zinc and biotin contribute to the maintenance of normal hair. Zinc and selenium contribute to the maintenance of normal nails

Maybe I'm not in the correct, but I think that Panax ginseng, and Ginkgo biloba can produce too much energy for a pre-op, but I have worries about the Lutein, I think it is said something on internet that this ingredient can cause some level of masculinization. What do you think? please,
because I don't want to suffer again, you know...

Gracias a tod@s. Thanks
