Title: who else experiences how much better proper clothes fit
Post by: stephaniec on April 16, 2016, 12:53:27 AM
my brain is going through a revolution. I've been on the miracle for 28 months and I'm really feeling amazed on how my body is conforming to the fit of women's clothes especially dresses. As my breasts grow it's truly unbelievable the pleasure I get by fitting properly into dresses. I usually wear a bra , but sometimes I'm bra less and either way it really an incredible feeling . I just love the fit it's so body conforming. Guys clothes which I haven't wore for a year just hang there , but the proper clothes are so comfortable. In the last week or so I just noticed this for some reason . I bought a really pretty black lace dress not long ago and I'm having such a hard time not wearing it because it fits so  perfectly.

I don't really wear dresses, but I know what you mean. Guy clothes never fit right on me, and I never even knew it. I never had really broad shoulders so I always thought it was awkward how the sleeves on guy shirts were on me. And since I wear my jeans a bit low, I always needed fairly large waisted jeans because of my hips, thighs, and butt. Now I know the difference, and women's clothes just fit my body shape better. I also like how much lighter and looser tops are. I actually can't stand wearing guy shirts anymore. They're too thick and heavy. And I've also grown fond of v-necks. Took some getting used to (can't bend over without my tits spilling out, lol) but I think the low necklines are oddly comfy. And easier to fix my bra-straps with them! :P However, I'm still getting used to certain tops, because seeing my tits sticking out in my peripheral vision is something I haven't totally adapted to yet. Oh gosh, I popped a button on my blouse after I got out of the car the other day. I was headed to the mall, and so I just went behind another car and tried to discreetly button back up.... awkward! Things like that, adjusting my bra straps, and doing that really awkward wiggle to get my pants back up over my butt while I'm out in public... ugh... I kinda hate having to deal with all that and maintaining some arbitrary modicum of decency. I'm sure if guys had to deal with that stuff, nobody would even notice, but I feel like you have to be discreet about that stuff as a woman. So annoying. But hey, that's all a totally different rant! :P

Absolutely YES

Im like Ashey and mens clothes always looked horrible on me....I had to get odd sizes to fit my "strange" body and didnt know why. First pair of womens jean I got a light bulb started flickering.

I have been excercising  to accentuate the female shape now and the HRT is beginning to do its thing looks like its moving those last bits that were troublesome for me to work out. Thats exciting for me

Of course Im a newbie and in that "oh my god I love this and Oh my god how do I hide this" stage

Oh yes for sure!

HRT has done quite a good job at modifying my body shape already, to the point my new clothes are very snug and comfy. Never felt this kind of comfort in my old boy stuff.

O yes I do.

I remember before HRT when I was a crossdresser, i struggled to get dresses to fit me and they often never looked right on me and I love wearing dresses. The upset me a bit.

Then once on HRT, my curves started forming and i started getting a butt, I found that dresses started fitting well. HRT gave me the same hour glass shape the rest of the women in my family have.

V-neck tops also fit much better now, and I love to show the cleavage off from 36D breasts.

Womens clothes fit better when you have female shaped body.

I remember when I was 19 and bought my first dress that was all mine and no one else's . Until then I had to sneak into my sisters closet . When I finally got my own dress I rushed home to put it on and looked in the mirror and was so hurt by the fact that it just didn't look right and didn't feel to have a very good fit at all. I immediately came out of the bathroom and gave the dress to my sister pretending it was a present. Now they fit

I've always been a womans size, mens clothes have never fit me they just hang, women's sizes fit alot better..not bad5for someone who never took hormones..I still forget at times not too take my shirt off in public, this has been the sad fact of my life since I was 14 and started to grow breasts instead of pecs,it took just one time in the boys locker room that made me quit undressing in front of the other boys...I love dresses for the fit my body just right.

For the longest time, as in most of my life, it bothered the crap out of me how well women's clothes fitted me between my big hips and high (and finally got) thin waist. The irony just made me want to fight being trans even more and scream "I AM A GUY... Now Get Over It"

Today it is a mixed blessing. Having been a former fatty I've always worn baggier clothes. Even in my far thinner form. Body dysphoria in general as I always see the big ole blubber belly and jiggly thighs. So the baggy clothes help a lot to hide the girls as well as the rest of my girlish figure as I continue my duel existence.

When I switch modes it goes the opposite direction. I love my body now and revel at being out in the real world as the real me, almost to the point of flaunting it. I just love the feeling.

Now is the worse time of year for me as Spring finally settles in and I see other women constantly enjoying what I long to do.

yes the warm weather approaches and this spring and summer there is going to be absolutely no hidden behind jackets and skinny jeans. This year is the full story no holding back. It's gong to be dresses and bare legs my total freedom approaches and I'm ready , Hallelujah.

I have always been in conflict with boys clothes. I have a 37" inside leg and my waist has always seemed very high. Now clothes make much more sense. Although, a girl friend was puzzled when I explained that I do not un-hitch my bra, I simply " step " into it !  just seemed the right way to do it  ;)

Ugh don't remind me. Gets so hot here in Florida, I hate it. Also means tiny shorts most of the time, so I gotta keep up on shaving. >: (

Totally notice this. Everything fits better. Dresses, skirts - my bottom is bigger and fills out pants etc. Looking forward to wearing my summer clothes. (and buying more )

Ahaha, they've literally startled me before. I usually have my keyboard in my lap, and sometimes I'll lean forward and my nipples will unexpectedly graze the keys. :o

My body hair has definitely thinned out, which is great... It's not terribly noticeable, but it's still there. :/ As it is, I only shave my legs if I'm going out on a date or hooking up. But I suppose that'll change once I get a gym membership again.

Yes;
Its quite amazing for me. In the last 5 months I have really noticed on fitted women' s blouses and tops just naturally fall from my 44B+ breasts and now that I only wear women' s jeans and pants (none of my male trousers fitted so I have long given even trying to wear them) as rounded buttocks and hips  now give that S curve projection. I am also noticing skirts and dresses just seem to fit better and fall much more naturally.

That is one of the most upsetting things to me.  Cute tops, bottoms, dresses, etc, that I would love to wear, when I put them on and they look ridiculous on me.. I get so frustrated and upset.

I'm hoping one day they will fit me like you girls are finding.  When I start HRT anyway... I'm lucky enough to find some women's jeans and yoga pants that fit... blessed with wider hips and a bubbly butt regardless...

I love living in Florida... can't wait to rock some cute clothes one day instead of the horrible shorts & t-shirts I'm stuck with in standard men's fashion

There are some cute unisex and androgynous t-shirts and shorts out there. Maybe that would be a good interim step.

I just recently bought some men's tank tops that were more pastel colors, a nice compromise since my wife isn't too keen on me wearing women's tops.

Interesting I have not posted in this topic for over 1 year, but fairly recently  I decided that as none of my male clothes fitted any longer all the suits, trousers, pants just had to go. I really never wear them these days anyway, but very very occasionally with a couple of clients I have to present as pseudo male. Well I decided to go to a tailor I knew (as my former self) and have him make up a suit and 2 pairs of trousers for these rare occasions. Now you need to understand he hasnt seen me for about 4 years. Anyway he said hi, and he said I will look up your old measurements and I said I doubt they are correct anymore. Anyway he didn't really understand and I didn't explain. But he got the old ones out and then started the measuring up for this new suit.

Well  he exclaimed.  Big increase on the chest, slimmer  waist, a bigger bum, bigger thighs, smaller arm circumference etc . He then went and made the suit. When he did the fitting. He said this is really strange you look like a woman dressed in a mans suit!. Again I didn't say anything, but he has kept the measurements. I doubt I will be back for any male suits again, but perhaps a nice womens tailored skirt and jacket would be nice!

Another thing I have noticed is I tried on a couple of my old "male" shirts before throwing them out and had one for the meeting with my client. Anyway when I got home I discovered that I now had a sore in my armpit where the fabric of the shirt  basically had been pulling on armpit and chafing my skin.  This is the same issue I have had before from the top of my inner thighs before from wearing mens boy shorts that were obviously not designed from rounded female buttocks. Anyway back to the shirt. They obviously had to go, replacing them with a woman shirt that was cut with C Cup breasts in mind and everything was fine again. So yes clothes definitely only fit properly now after 4.5 years on HRT when wearing clothes designed for a woman. The shirts have gone too, but my new "male suit " remains for emergency meetings, even if it does look sort of strange on me now!

Definitely!  ;D

Women's jeans just fit my wide pelvis right. Men's jeans ride funny on me, chafe my skin on both sides where the waist falls on my pelvic crest. so much that I used to have dark skin there like a callus. I still wear mens jeans for work but HRT has definitely put some padding on my rear and thighs. I can tell most when I kneel down. Men's jeans are tight around my upper thigh and rear end.

I never thought much about a high waist but yeh that's true. Where my waist falls is quite high for a guy.

I always wore oversized tee shirts. Since Jr high maybe 5th-6th grade when my pelvis widened I have been trying to drape myself to hide the real me from the world. Its a bit different to now put on a tight fit women's top.  ;)

Judith, I loved your tailor story.
