i have a lot of SRS questions and instead of creating a new thread every time i have a question, i am just going to make one :P
this is a cis clitoris. the visible part goes back in, splits in half and goes on either side of the vagina.

do they use the erectile tissue from the penis to recreate the clitoris, or do they only recreate the visible part?
There are different surgical approaches.
Suporn imo keeps all of the glans and creates a neoclitoris and uses the remaining parts below it creating a secondary sensate organ.
He also keeps most of the erectile tissue.
Brassard imo keeps nerves and blood vessels of the glans intact and creates a neoclitoris. Not all nerves are kept but as many nerve endings as possible are preservated.
Not all erectile tissue is kept.
It may take further reading into or asking what exact procedures of others are.
Most leave only part of the erectile tissue in place.
With Suporn some well endowed candidates reported problems.
Some other people needed a revision. Revisions are included with suporn though.
Every surgeon offers kind of a bundle with different features. The clit is only one part of this.
Some surgeons also aks what is more important, looks, depth or sensation.
So it may be possible to create a more sensate clit which may be larger.
Imo it makes sense to look up some reviews and get informed of specific advantages and drawbacks of each surgeon.

Surgeons have their own technique and approach. Most prefer to remove most of corpora cavernosa, or as much as possible, in order to avoid possible erectile tissue related complications, which might later require additional erectile tissue removal (which is a bit riskier to do than during initial surgery). Dr. Suporn however likes to preserve some of erectile tissue, as biological women also have erectile tissue. He removes erectile tissue from area where shaft of penis starts to glans of the penis... so basically he removes all erectile tissue (apart from glans) that was on the outside, and preserves all erectile tissue that was on the inside.
