Title: Anxiety HRT
Post by: BoroTrans on May 06, 2016, 08:43:47 AM
I just started estradiol <dosages not allowed> 3 days ago.  Have been dissolving the pills under my tongue and have felt a great improvement in mood and well being in a short time. This morning I took my tablet and my whole body started tingling and had waves of anxiety for about 3 hours before leveling out.  Any thoughts on this?  Anyone had similar experiences?

Moderator edit: dosage removed.

You aren't supposed to mention dosages. As to the tingling/anxiety, I've actually experienced the same with pills, whether taken sublingually or orally. Since switching to injections, this problem has resolved. :)

BoroTrans,

Sounds scary. It's great you are trying to be as thorough as possible. Thanks KayXo for sharing your experience and the fact that we don't allow dosage content on the site. I edited the first post for those reasons.

I might suggest you also contact your endocrinologist, quickly. Just so they are aware as well.

You also might want to look over the links again to reacquaint yourself with the site's policies:

I can remember feeling like I was filled with elation shortly after taking my pills in those early days.  Now I just feel normal, heh.  So it will probably fade.

I just don't understand why I would feel this zen like calm for 2 days and then go into anxiety and panic???

Have you tried calling your endo or doctor?

I'm not sure if the medication would have noticeable effects within three days?

Could be purely psychological. Are you afraid of the changes? Not ready, perhaps?
