Title: Celebrating the little things...
Post by: Orielle on May 06, 2016, 09:44:14 AM
Hello my lovelies!

So a more positive topic this time...not that important I suppose, but it is for me.

I've been putting off starting the beard removal process because I've been waiting for my skin to improve, but I realised that it's never going to be ready and that there's no sense waiting for the perfect time because now is the perfect time.

So I just picked up the phone and arranged an appointment for the initial consultation. It's at a place local to me, so just a fifteen minute trip down the road, where they'll laser off a test patch and then I've got to wait five days to see how I react.

Hopefully, everything will go smoothly. I've been IPLing my body since the start of the year, so I certainly don't expect any issues. Looking at their website, they use an ND:YAG laser (Fotona XP & QX Max machines), which seem to be safe for all skin types. I'm half anglosaxon and half pakistani, so my skin is probably best described as olive and I have dark hair mainly, so I'm not expecting any problems.

Anyway, it's important to celebrate the little things, even if they're no harder than just picking up a phone, so hurray for me! ;-)

Hair removal is definitely something to stare sooner than later. Congratulations on starting.
