Congrats!

Sorry to say, but the HRT probably will cause some shrinkage unless you routinely keep things "stretched out"... if you get what I mean. :)

Well gaining some weight afterwards in the right places ... boobies and butt ... may be desired.
Avocado oil is said to help, for cooking and in salads ... not going predominantly on the belly.

One form of HRT uses injections or implants to keep levels of estrogen well in the female range, which by a feedback loop can drive down t without anti androgens. Its considered safe only with implants and injections.
So no anti androgens are needed, which all have side effects.

Another hormone is bioidentical progesterone which could help with breast growth, with rounding and fullness. Many people say they have less of a conical form.

Some poeple stretch the p a while before surgery in a towel, to help with size.
You might ask the surgeon if it would help, depending on their technique.

Thank you dear Laura
unfourtunatlly we dont have in our contry injections or implants
So i have to take what my doctors offers that is Spiroctone( she doesnt like CPA) then after some months i get estrogen in patches or pill form, about bioidentical progesterone i have to ask
They are great here with checking you out all the blood what they take, then breats chek, belly chek, but the pharamcy is very bad and they offer us very few choices :(

Congrats sweetie on your hrt! It is such an exciting time starting your journey. Please do not swallow your estrogen pills it is rough on the liver. Dissolve under tongue(pain in the butt but safe and more absorbed.) Ask for bio-identical hormones; 17b Oestradiol and (Micronized Progesterone in 10 day cycles.) On Spiro if you take that keep hydrated and heavy salt will become fair game so if you like salty foods your in luck with that. Watch consumption of heavy potassium foods ie Avocados, Sweet Potato, Bananas etc.

There is another way to dissolve estrace or estrofem tablets and it is rectally, ew gross to most people but not me and it 'really' works great! I have noticed so much better mood and feminization in the week I have been doing it this way.

Swallowing a E pill with a really healthy liver is around; 5-15% absorbable.
Dissolving Under Tongue is around 25-35% absorbable(taste very little resist swallowing saliva is best.)
Rectal administration done properly and deep enough is around 65-75% absorbable putting it at the same level as patches without having to live around the patch.

Anyway have fun and enjoy your splendid journey to female. ;)

Rectal administration is very ineterestuing info

Your welcome.  :) The pills I use are the blue ones that say NOVO 280(Estrofem; generic of Estrace brand.) They dissolve nicely under the tongue but it literally takes practice though. And each dissolving session you can barely talk without sounding like you have a severe speech problem not can you move your tongue or swallow etc. After one year of failed dosages ie tasting too much accidentally swallowing, and the pure time consumption 10-20 minutes per pill under tongue I went to my better absorbed, faster, more convenient umm rectal method; sorry for the graphic topic everyone. :embarrassed:  It costs a little more though considering you have to keep gloves and some lube jelly around for it lol!

Giving you an anti-androgen alone without E puts you in menopause where your mood, sleep, energy level, cognitive function and health might be adversely affected. You should ask your doctor why they do this.

Please do not swallow your estrogen pills it is rough on the liver.

Bio-identical estradiol has not been shown to adversely affect the liver, especially at doses usually given to us. The problem is more the risk of clots although this has been especially observed with non bio-identical estrogens.

QuoteMicronized Progesterone in 10 day cycles.

Why cycles? There is nothing natural about womens' cycles, they may even lead to problems (i.e. breast cancer) and to mood ups and downs.

QuoteThere is another way to dissolve estrace or estrofem tablets and it is rectally, ew gross to most people but not me and it 'really' works great! I have noticed so much better mood and feminization in the week I have been doing it this way.

I believe that there may not be enough water, humidity for tablet to dissolve there. Have you actually verified levels when taking it this way? Whatever route you choose to take it, please let your doctor know and get their consentment first. :)

QuoteDissolving Under Tongue is around 25-35% absorbable(taste very little resist swallowing saliva is best.)

Where have you gotten this figure from?

QuoteRectal administration done properly and deep enough is around 65-75% absorbable putting it at the same level as patches without having to live around the patch.

Deeper in the rectum, the medication is absorbed in the portal vein and goes to the liver before entering the blood so absorption would be MUCH less and more similar to taking it orally. Also, whether estradiol in pills can actually be absorbed this way is debatable and has not been studied and verified.

Estrofem is not a generic, it's a brand name.

Oh yes it is name brand, my bad. The reason for the cycling if anything is because the hormone fluctuations a ciswoman goes through during her period. Granted some Progestrone USP manufacturers and physicians may suggest P everyday or 3 weeks a month or the 10 days a month there are always too much varying methods of taking P but I'm fine with 10 day cycles... I have not felt sick yet. Most things put in body have to visit the liver all I want to do is make sure what ever I put in my body is utilized fully. Like I said earlier since I have been doing this way I have been feeling better. I don't like the idea of my Estrogen pill being attacked by the stomach before it gets to my liver. I took my E sublingual for the longest time but it became annoying having failed session where I taste too much or the pill taking sometime 30 minutes to dissolve 3 times a day. I don't want my HRT to be a chore and instead try to make it as least invasive as I can in my life.

I cannot seem to find the source where I got those % but I have seen the 5-15% absorb from sublingual lots of times. Whether that is the Bio-Identical or Impure older E pill I don't quite remember. So like I should have said people should take what I say with a grain of salt. In my personal experience this odd method seems to be making me feel better. My estrogen levels must be pretty good because of my...

positive mood, breasts growing by the day, good hip to waist ratio, and my skin is still very fair and feminine I can even see like nearly micro thin dark purple veins on my palms and inner arms.

Sadly I don't have a doctor though I wish I did. I would love to get my bloodwork done and get injections because that is still the hands down best method to take e. I try to treat myself base on how I feel.

I can actually get my own bloodwork done without a doctor with labs that just have you pay a good chunck of money. There are also saliva hormone test strips that you can get online but I question both methods reliability.
