Its quite common now. Sandrena is another one.
And it may be possible to ask at compounding pharmacies.

People have different results because skins are different.

I used oestrogel initially and for several months.  I had good results.  I've since switched to oral estrogen because I started working with a U.S clinic that preferred the pills.  I'm not sure oestrogel is available in the U.S.  The pills are certainly simpler to use.  The gel form takes some time and discipline to apply.

There are compunding pharmacies who may be able to make estrogen gel on demand. It may also be without a brand name premium.

I was on estrogel fie about a year.  It worked great for about six months.  At some point, the formulation got runny and it stopped working.  If I waited long enough to dress, it was OK but who has an extra hour for the stuff to dry?

I'm in the US.  The company who made that brand has production and quality control issues.

Changed to a combination of a patch and a pill.  Works very well.

Sandrena worked pretty well for me.  It comes in convenient small individual packets each containing either 0.5mg or 1mg of estradiol gel.

I find the gel is inconvenient to apply. Sandrena/Divigel appears to be more potent.
