So while I am happy with many of the effects HRT has given, breasts are not one of them. I never desired having breast, I don't even like having nipples in the first place. It seems so pointless since I don't plan on having children.
Anyhow I've been on HRT for almost 3 months, and as expected my breasts have grown. It's not much and I could probably still walk around topless without people caring, but it's been getting and uncomfortable when I move my arms around. It's not as painful as before but more noticeable.
I'm not sure how exactly to go about this. I could go off estrogen for a period of time, while taking Androgen Blockers. Eventually I will need to take estrogen again for health reasons (and I'm not going back on testosterone). This might be a good idea since I will save up for FFS and then keep going on Estrogen and save up for a mastectomy when by breasts are fully developed.
Though I had gone off estrogen for 2 weeks because Planned Parenthood didn't fill my prescription and I noticed a lot of the effects of HRT going back, the most noticeable being a higher libido, and I also started crying a lot again. Since going back on estradiol this past week I've felt better but I might start swallowing them from now on instead of leaving them under my tongue.
If there are any other ways to retard breast growth I'd like to hear them.
Well breast growth is mainly genetic and I do not know of anyway of limiting growth beyond maybe a lower dose of E, talk to your medic.
As for discomfort a well fitted bra can make a lot of difference.
Breast augmentation is a side-effect of E. Most enjoy that and seek this. Hope things work out for you. To each their own. :)
Sorry things aren't what you had hoped for on that point. I suspect a discussion with your doc could potentially correct the level of meds to lower the chances of breast growth, but some women get considerable breast growth on even low doses of E.
