Hey All,
I am looking for support groups in Toronto for both my wife and I. I have been dealing with gender issues for a very long time but have recently been very seriously and will most likely transition.
Cheers
PFLAG is probably a good place to start. people there can give you information and help on maybe therapist, etc. to see and whatever like that. although i'm on T for awhile now, i went to a meet up for transgender people my age with PFLAG and i actually found out new things i didn't know and that would have been super helpful for when i was in the beginning stages. i'm not sure if the toronto chapter of PFLAG has gender journeys but you should try to find out. i went to that too but i was already way further along in my transition then most of the people there. they were all newer transitioners looking for answers, questions, and trying to figure themselves out. that would be just for you, not your wife but they do have a like loved ones night for them to join, etc. it's about an 8? week program. give it a look.
Thanks.
I have signed up for the next session of Gender Joirneys in Toronto.

Thanks Laura!
I took the gender journeys program in Barrie ( Ontario ) last year. It is most defiantly worth the time. In the Barrie venue, after the gender journeys had finished for the evening, the regular transgender meetings began. My wife was able to join me in the regular meetings.
I have heard great things about Gender Journeys. I know of a couple of people whom have taken it and they said it really helped. I look forward to the next session.
