I have been alternating between an Instyler with a 1 3/4 inch barrel and a Chi flat Iron 1" width for the past year. I am mostly satisfied with them; the Instyler is ok for curling my hair, but it doesn't really doesn't give me that beachy curl that I want, so I decided to get a Sultra Bombshell 1" curling wand; I got it on the Sephora website, and it's supposed to arrive early next week. I am so excited to be getting this new curling iron, and I am looking forward to trying it out!
A 30 year old hair pick. Yes, I use other tools like a hair drier and other brushes but the hair pick is the first tool I grab and I use it every day.
My wife and i share that exact curling iron and it works great. She also used both a larger chi iron and then her and our daughter use a smaller chi iron.
My hair is an asymmetrical bob, where the long side is curled under, so i am not real demanding on a curling iron. However, compared to a cheapo "andis" branded one we had from target the Sultra has been great. We got ours on Amazon i think.

30 years; that's an heirloom 😊
I like my detangling comb a lot; I also have a boar bristle brush that I like.

I'm glad you like it! There is a lot of positive reviews online, so I think I made a good choice.
I just have two cheap brushes for the time being.
Once I am able to grow my hair out, then I will need to get some proper tools, hair dryer, and the right style brush. My hair is naturally right between wavy and curly, and if I could just grow it out, then I would be able to get a nice 1920's finger wave with minimal effort and literally almost nothing to goop up my hair.

Without a doubt my favorite Hair tool is my Paul Mitchell express ion smooth protool flat iron. After years of being a faithful Chi consumer and going through 3 different chi flat irons it only took one trip to my hair stylist where he used this flat iron on me and I fell in love. I ran straight to the store and picked one up and I have had it for almost 4 years and it still works perfectly.
