Title: Newly post-op
Post by: tesseract49 on May 14, 2016, 07:20:25 AM
Well I am in a lot of pain but I pulled through without any problems. I have had my GRS and already feeling sensation in most of the parts. I am feeling so happy now and I am so glad that I went through. I was so worried before that I kept freaking out and thought that I might chicken out.  But I was fine xxxx

Congratulations  :)

Wish you a speedy recovery.

I'd say be a bit careful in the beginning, medication may make people feel stronger than they are.

Maybe nice and slow in the beginning  :)

hugs

The whole procedure took only 90 minutes to complete, which I think may be a bit of a record.

Since coming back from theatre 6 hours ago she has taken no morphine - pain is currently being controlled with Paracetamol (acetaminophen to you Americans) alone, although she may want a shot of the morphine to help her sleep tonight.

Congrats! I'm newly post op as well. Are you still in the hospital? Icing the area really helps take away the throbbing feeling down there.  :)
