Ok, so I've had quite a few sessions (10 or so) with my gender therapist. He has focused alot on my (not allowed) and the fact that I possibly have Asperger. we've talked a lot about my gender issues though. I'd like to point out I still haven't done anything relevant (e.g. laser, electrolysis). the only things are like wearing cord bracelets, trimming body hair; painting toenails.
I understand that I'm the one mainly responsible for what I do etc but often after the therapy session I feel worse than before. The sessions are usually once every 1-2 weeks (80 euros! ) Often he tells me he believes my issue is more (not allowed) and less gender dysphoria (which makes me very angry). I told him once that gender dysphoria plays a Very important role. I also asked him when will I take the "Asperger" test he wants me to and his reply was "in another session". Basically I feel I'm almost going backwards. I keep going but I don't know what else to do currently. Maybe he's waiting for me to "move on"?
Are you supposed to feel worse after the therapy session?
Mod Edit- ->-bleeped-<- is banned topic.
edit: I tried to ask him whether we could arrange the sessions more apart and he replied saying he prefers every week... (could he be doing this almost only for money?)
It is sometimes possible to feel worse after a therapy session. I never did but some people do have that occur. I think you might want to find another therapist like ASAP. I mean after all it is there job to help you and they shouldn't be causing you any harm. hugs

I would get another therapist ASAP. ->-bleeped-<- is no longer considered a real thing and is an outdated idea. Just because you have aspergers doesn't mean you can't transition; it's a separate thing you have. I don't know why it will have to be diagnosed. A gender therapist is supposed to listen to your history of gender dysphoria as well as the severity of how you feel about your gender today. Not tell you you are wrong and it's probably something else. That's not helpful. They also shouldn't believe you have to conform to a certain way of being a women.
:police:
Just an FYI. ->-bleeped-<- is not allowed to be discussed on the site due to it being a banned topic. Thanks

I'm with Elis, get another therapist. This one is bad for you.
I'd suggest getting recommendations from other trans people. Either search and find them or make post asking for one.
