Post by: Karivh on May 18, 2016, 07:53:50 PM
Do you ladies have lots of days that you feel like is not working? Other days you feel like it is I'm kind of early into it just over 5 weeks.

Hi Karivh,

It's not a day-to-day thing, at least not for me, aside from the fact my dysphoria stopped within days of starting estrogen.

I have been on HRT for about nine months now, but my endocrinologist is very conservative in his approach.  I can't give dosages, but I use four transdermal estradiol patches a week.  My serum E2 is barely 70 pg/mL. I do experience some aspects of feminization - softer skin, less skin oil, less body hair, and some modest breast growth, but that's about it.  All I can say is that it's a lot better with HRT than without it.

With kindness,

Terri

5 Weeks is pretty early. Monitor your results with your doctor. He/She will ask you how the dosage is going for you About that time for me i was noticing soreness in breasts and that my skin was less oily, that is about it.
