I decided today that I wanted to tell one of my friends at work about my transitioning, so arranged to have a coffee with her. It appears that she wanted to talk to me anyway - before I had a chance to say anything she came out with "Are you transitioning?".
It turned out that she had noticed my breasts were getting larger and had realised what was happening - so much for me being discrete!!
Anyway, as expected, she was very supportive so it is good to have another person at work who knows.
Congratulations :)
Here are some materials for coming out should you need some :

Wonderful!!
That's actually exciting.
How long since the transition started?
Sounds like you were you trying to disguise the changes?
Did she notice anything else like facial or body changes?

It was a bit exciting.
I've been on hormones for about 7 months. At work i have been trying to still look male, but once she noticed the breasts she was quite easily able to see the facial changes.

What do you wear to work Dana?
I've been on HRT for almost three months and don't plan on transitioning 'till next year. I'm hopeful that my small but growing boobs will be hid by my suit.

Hi Jx
I do wear a bra under my work clothes, i haven't had a lot of growth but i do find it more comfortable. I wear my usual work shirt over that which is loose enough to hide them from most people.

Dana,
I was thinking of wearing a bra to work now that I've come out.
Do you ever receive any glares or stares? More importantly, do you feel personally validated when you wear a bra to work?
Even with the bra on they are not big enough to be really noticible so, while i'm sure a few people have noticed something odd, nobody has said or done anything; except for my friend.
When i first started doing it, i felt validated, but now it is just part of my everyday wear and i feel strange without one on.

Thanks for that Dana. I'm still hopeful that I'll be able to hide my transition for 12-18 months of HRT. Keeping my suit jacket on should certainly help, next summer may be difficult though.
