I was with some co-workers. I open wallet to pay an item and it was roughly $200 in it, but a lot of bills. And this guy who is my manager said, "I remember when I was young and single." This is the second time he was looking at my wallet and seeing what I had. First off, there is probably just a 7 or 8 year age difference... But he may think hes older than me because hes wrinkled, balding and 1 foot height difference (him being like 6'6)
I then said, "Well you must make more than I do with the special encentives." My job pays people for being married and having kids an extra 1 k a month. And then he said, "You would think..." And then rattle off about having a wife and kids. But he makes at least twice as more as I do in regular pay alone....
I was irritated by this guy, because he just seems like having kids and wife is a chore and an expense. And that I was lucky...
Later on he was rambling about growing up in the workforce and following rules... Giving me a speech, when I just said I dont believe all rules should be follow (topic was offcourse from men wearing earrings) he wasnt too serious but using the term growing up seem pretty pathetic when I am already in my mid 20s and hes in early 30s.
I only ask him if his wife works and then I change the topic.... I still dont feel sorry for him.

hey! >:( not all of us GenX's and Y's are degenerates, Dev :P
As for the guy, ya got to pity the fool... Unlike us, he's only able to see life from one perspective... next time i would go "HAH! if only you knew the things i know, bub" it'll leave him perplexed!
but seriously, some cis guys are just jerks.
