Title: Hair Follicles
Post by: Magicka on May 29, 2016, 05:37:55 PM
Hi everyone. I have a question. Does having active coarse hair facial cause the skin underneath where the follicle is to be thicker then a completely inactive pore? So when I finally get a chance to do some electrolysis will my hair not only permanently be gone but will it also thin the skin around where my hair grew and feminize it even more>

Basically my question is I guess...

Does the skin texture and tone etc become more feminine by phr than even by waxing if only because the follicle is killed?

I'm already one year on hrt with no phr done because I have been in a tight financial spot for awhile. I pass mostly and I think the only reason I don't is maybe because so weird male shading thickness and texture around my mouth.

I have ghostly pale skin and some thick dark blonde and red facial hair and when I shave my skin stays swollen. Generally my lip and beard area skin even close shave just 'seems' thicker and different textured than a hairless persons.

Hi Magicka, I'm in the same situation as you (except darker skin and darker hair) so I don't know, but I'm curious to see your replies so posting this  :P

But I'm unsure what you mean exactly by thicker.  :-\ Shaving used to always be so painful and I'd end up with cuts and rashes but I got me an electric shaver, plus I don't have these small pimples I always had anymore since hrt so that helps too. I stopped pulling them now and the shadow is worsening, it's awful  :(  Planning laser hoping it works on my skin. Soon.
