With pride day fast approaching I was shocked today by something that just happened to me while leaving a restaurant. I've been in this neighborhood for 20 years and all the regulars have seen my transition. So today I got up to go outside to the tables in front of the restaurant and as I walked out I heard a woman with a group of others start laughing and saying something about being a guy. I'm not totally sure it was meant for me, but I realized with pride approaching and going on 3 years of wonderful hormones I just don't care how anyone else feels about my transition .I'm finally past caring about others opinion and having pride day around the corner the confidence is there to just shrug it off.
