I've known since I was 2 that I was supposed to be a girl and now that I'm in the position to do something about it I have this fear...
That after a couple years of HRT that I'll have basically a set of "man-boobs" with a boy body. Sure I could have breast augmentation at some point but would still have the typical male body profile. Wide shoulders with narrow hips and butt.
Unless someone starts HRT at a very young it seems unlikely to develop real curves. It seems like most of the girls that transitioned and have the killer hourglass figure did so by silicone injections. (Very bad idea)
So my concern is that after doing all the above that I would still never have the curvy body that I feel necessary to completely blend in.
Yes I realize that plenty of CIS women have boy like figures but they have plenty of other things that make them unmistakably female.
I had the same fear. I still have lots of muscles and no curves besides my full B cup breasts and I pass always
Loosing weight helped for but if your face, hairs, voice and breast are considered female you should pass in a bikini. I needed surgeries for face, voice and press but I never will remove a rip or get bitten implants
In the end face and hairs are very important and breasts will also help a lot in terms of your body. Your voice of course van destroy a lot of your passing
Really sorry you not seeing what you hoped you would. For sure it is is a genetic lottery no matter your age. I suspect that the time, expense and recovery associated with augmentation procedures may get you closer to where you want to be, but only you can decide that (with the help of your support network)
I have not had any augmentation done but i have seen many many positive results and feedback from those that have. Also you probably already have done this but i'd talk to your doc about adjusting HRT etc, perhaps you would get a second round of results from that.
