Basically I was wondering if you go through Nursing school while still in my case male, and I get my license then start the whole name changing / full transition; etc. How would that
effect changing my R.N. license?
Would they stip me of that, since i was no longer the "male" who went through the program?
Once you get your court order for name change you can use that to have your license updated to show your new name. I believe some people even use it to get their schools to update their records with the revised name in the event there are inquiries to the school about your having attended and graduated there.

If that's the job you seek ...I would get all your documention changed 'before' you enrole in Nursing School...

No, they wouldn't. I have a FtM friend who is a nurse, and he didn't have any problems with his license.
Sweet, thank you all for your replies :) :) :)
Like everyone has said get your court order and mail the name change, its no different then when a woman gets married I had no issues albet they laugh about it in there office but who cares.
Thank's Cindy :)
I personally think it's better to start a 'new' job after transition or at least after name changes and hormones..
starting a new job is fine and dandy but any professional licenses MUST be changed before the new job especially nursing. personaly I would do anything to not have to repeat A&P micro and three years of college
