I'm getting ready to get started on pre-surgery electrolysis but it looks like I only need to do some on the shafty area and the other area is pretty low on hair. I'm curious what other people's experiences are in terms of what specific method of electrolysis they did and the current level, etc. Also I'm curious how many treatments and how long before the hairs were reduced or eliminated?
One other question, does Meltzer do any kind of scraping to eliminate/reduce hair during surgery?
Meltzer has a sheet that indicates what needs to be cleared with electrolysis. I saw somebody else's diagram so I know the document exist. If you are going to use him, I suggest you call the office and get the documentation directly from them. My surgery was PI from another doctors and hair wasn't an issue with my particular surgery.
Thanks Dena! I think I'm good on that part.
I'm wondering more what methods people used for genital electrolysis and how long it took them to get to a good point.
The question about Meltzer was involving whether he did the scraping type thing during his style surgery.
There is a company called Electrology 3000 that specializes in this. They use anesthetic and sometimes two electrologists at the same time. They are located in Lewisville, TX, a northern Dallas suburb.
They can clear the area in a day, and then another 3 visits can usually complete the process. They are familiar with each surgeon's requirements, and have no qualms about working on the "South Pole" as they call it.
Even with the travel and motel expense this can be the quickest way to get rid of the hair.
