Hi,
I am 6 feet tall medium built and currently weigh 185 lbs with clothes, at this point do not have any of the curves so wanted by us the MTF. I think I would look good around 165 or 170 or a size 10/12 with a feminine body style.
What is your current weight and height and what is your desired/goal weight or dress size?
What do you think would make you look good, and please be realistic!
Emily
I'm 5'11 and around 170 right now. I had gotten to 158 about six weeks ago but my bones were sticking out. So between 160 to 170 is about right I think. I haven't bought any new clothes in a while but I think that's around a size 12, maybe 14 due to shoulder width. For jeans it's 10/12.

I was 6' and around 199 lbs about 6 months ago. I am now down to 165lbs and somehow, also lost height & shoe size (yay!)
I'm now 5'11" and size 11 shoes. I am pre HRT, so I am still amazed.
I just bought a couple of dresses and they were Medium (10/12) and they fit relatively well. I don't have the curves however.
I'm planning on getting below 160. We'll see how that goes.
Realistically, I'm probably close to the bottom end of where I can be.

I am 6'2" and it appears my best weight is between 160 and 170 pounds. I can fit into a size 16 comfortably but the hormones I am currently on may return my bottom to a 14. If I put more weight on it doesn't go where I want it and tends to end up on my belly.
Your body may differ but the handle dandy BMI table puts your weight between 136 and 180. If you want shape, you want 15-20 pounds over the bottom weight and a bit more if it goes in the right places so your weight is realistic but your sizes may be closer to mine.
Im a size 10 or 12 jeans and a size 14 dress, I have been on on hormones for a year now but with a very low dosage until recently and then somehow had a setback where my T went back to 500 from 238 or so! but have a very small bottom and no hips and my band size is 38, hopefully reducing the testosterone and time will reduce my muscles and migrate the fat to the right areas.
I was down to 170 from about 238 that I started with and people kept asking me if I was sick.
I don't want to be rail thin, but want some curves..
160.
I am nowhere near it.
I will get there five years after I am dead.
My shoulders are the limiting factor on top. With weigh gain and while I was off hormones, my waist went up to size 16. I lost the weight and am at 170 so it looks like I will get back to a 14 soon. I have a really nice expensive wool skirt in 14 I want to wear again.
As for your bottom, I suspect you will gain shape in that area. For me it was slow to come and it happened long after breast development but it could happen sooner for you.
I haven't started HRT yet, but currently I am 5'11" 130 lbs +/- 5 or so lbs. I think I am definetely on the thin side. I am size 5/6 in pants and medium in a dress.
My ideal size would be a 3/4. My height and with a few lost lbs especially after start of HRT I feel would be perfect.
I'm near 6', 180 lbs, 42, 32, 42 and usually wear size 10 and 36D
I would like to be more like 165 lbs but look pretty good so am not too pressed about it. I can wear a 2 piece and that's not bad at my age.
If you look good, try to ignore the silly number between your feet. (I say that but still weigh myself every morning)
I am 5'2'' (62 inches), and currently my weight ranges from 127 pounds to 130 pounds throughout the day.
Realistically, I can stay here and be happy, but honestly I can shed a few more pounds maybe be in the range of 120 to 125.

I'm 5'6", 145 +/-5. ALL in the legs. That is a family curse.
At 140 I look gaunt and sickly. At 155 i start to look pudgy. My heaviest was 170 and a picture of me without a shirt on actually was the initial trigger 5 years ago for my transition that started 7 months ago. (I kept telling myself to be a girl, lose the weight. It worked in more ways than expected
It's between 9 and 9.5 stones. That would be what... 125 pounds ish
Naturally I'd want to be six foot tall minimum and and with a decent amount of muscle but that's not happening this life.
I am 5' 9". About 6 months ago, I weighed 170. I was pudgy and hated it but it looked natural. But I have a terrible build
Even though I am at a healthy 135 now, I just look awkward. You can visibly see my ribs but that's just because my ribcage is so massive. I carry most of my weight in my thighs and stomach and it's pretty upsetting. I struggle with wanting to lose more weight even though I know that where I'm at right now is probably where I should stay.
Hopefully HRT will make me look more curvy than bony
I am 6 feet (184 cm), weighing about 67 kg (148 lbs), I guess. My ideal weight is 65 kg (143 lbs), which I can maintain in summer and fall, but some of my friends say I am too skinny. But IMO it depends on the individual body type and shape. It is difficult to maintain 143 lbs in winter and spring, although it is just 5 lbs difference. This slight difference makes a huge contrast in my fashion, especially in the belly and waist. I have been obsessed with my waist size.
I usually wear US teens 3 or lady 4 size. To wear bikini this summer, I exercise hard whenever the day is nice.
Today I ran to a nearby temple (the round trip was about 10 km or 6 miles).

Everyone,
Remember that we are our own worst critics. We all look WONDERFUL, that does not means not to have goals of weight, not much you can do about the height part.
Keep it up...

Well...
:D
In my case, it's not about being my own worst critic. It's about being brutally honest. I AM a total cow. I AM fat. I have a closet that is half full of tops that I haven't been able to wear since 08, 09. (something like that) I keep them around thinking that I'm going to wear them. Honestly, it ain't gonna happen.
I'm 5'9" and a little less than 120 lbs. In an ideal world I would rather be 6'2"/6'3" so I can be as tall as the men in my family and not quite as thin as I am (though idk how much that be).
I'm 5'8" and 142 lbs dressed, or 139 bare. I'm pretty close to where I want to be, if I can just redistribute the weight a bit. (Thus the HRT...)
Da numbers:
Chest 37"
Waist 29"
Hips: 37"
Size 8 pants, or a size 6 missy cut.
Large tops, because of the shoulder size
US Size 10 or EU 41 shoes
I'm 5'11" at 137 pounds. My shoulders and chest define me as a size XL (14 or 16?) and I wear size 8 jeans.
Ideally? I would like less of a chest and shoulders and more of a butt!
So what. I've lived a long life and I've done okay. I don't worry about those things so much anymore. I'm more worried about maintaining good dental hygiene so I can die with my teeth.

Yes. Everyday I clean my teeth with floss and interdental brush. My dental health is not so much good, but I just want it not getting worse. Fortunately I do not loose any tooth so far.

I am 5 foot 7 and 1/2 inches, and last weigh in was 162 clothed or 157 bare. I typically wear size 8, 9, or 10 pants depending on the manufacturer, and size 12 on top because of my shoulders.
Fitness Magazine says a woman my height should weigh 128 to 143. I figure if the hormones reduce my shoulder muscles, that will be about 20 pounds right there. At least, that was where I gained 20 pounds when I went through the second half of male puberty way back when. I just started hormones, so I'll get back to you folks in a year or two on that one.
