I'd appreciate any insights as to the pain involved in getting electrolysis on belly area. It is quite hairy and I hate it! I've had a little over 40 hours on my face and neck and around 5 hours on my chest. My face and neck need more work but my chest appears to be almost done.

does hrt not fade that away?
i know that waxing there is pretty painful -- more than areas you'd expect to be more painful. i guess it's the same, unless you've got a lot of fat protecting you. same as shins are more painful to wax than thighs - it's right on the bone.
well done on the facial clearance. i'll be thrilled when that's done.
The belly is not bad. The upper lip and private part areas are the worst. If you are considering HRT or have just started, a lot of this hair could disappear without help of electrolysis. I wasted time doing a lot that the hormones could have done. Hormones don't help with face hair. In some areas of lower abdominal area electrolysis can make you kick your leg like a frog's leg connected to a battery. It's a weird feeling like restless leg syndrome.
Moni
I'd have thought belly would be an ideal place for laser?
I found that a few waxes combined with HRT has led to very minimal and/or very fine body hair. I haven't had any electro on my belly but I imagine it would be about as painful as under the chin, which isn't really that pleasant.

That depends on how dark the hair is.
