Hi everyone, so I've noticed that sometimes, right after taking a pill of estradiol. Sometimes my breasts and nipple feel/look very full and then I even feel in the mood for sex, though I am not sexually active.
I know testosterone is the hormone that is strongly associated with sex drive, but does estrogen play a role in this as well?
My levels of estrogen are high actually, because I have been taking estradiol in pill form for several years. I have not actually touched on the subject of sex drive though. I had kind of just assumed that that was all going to go out the window after I had an orchiectomy done.
Some anecdotal and scientific evidence suggests estrogen can indeed boost libido, but not to the same extent as testosterone or quite in the same way.
