When I first came to this wonderful place I was of a feeling all was for naught. Three months later I feel as close as ever to living my prayers. Today I had a conversation with the Group Health social worker assigned to my case and discussed options. She is setting an appointment with the group doctor that can prescribe hormones. I may have to move my posts from crossdresser to transitioning. I have no reservations about getting the full Monte as I have started too late to get everything done. If things were different when I was twenty there would be no doubt that I would really be Dawn by now. Just the relief of telling people my story has provided, cannot be measured. Plus the other 800 lb gorilla in the room. Cost. With the money I have spent on motels and hotels where I could crossdress I probably could have paid for the whole transformation.
Progress begets more progress.
