So I have been on hormones for over a year now. When I first started I noticed the breasts buds right away and they stayed for awhile I think within the first year they disappeared and dame back multiple times. Does it mean that the breast bud spreads to the boob and then another is created? I've noticed a good amount of growth this year but the past week or two I noticed that the breast buds aren't there anymore? A few of the days I noticed tiny tiny buds but they were gone is this good or bad? I don't know if the breast buds are supposed to stay forever or if it's just the first year or whatever?
The breast buds are always there but the fat cover them so they are difficult to feel. You may have to squeeze hard enough to feel them that your breast might hurt. Mine are between 3 and 4 inches in diameter and have always been there.
As the breasts grow you cannot really feel the buds any more.
Yes, the breast buds usually dissipate after awhile and then the breasts will continue to go through growth spurts every few months then slow down a bit and then there you are picking out bras you like :icon_chick:

Yeah the growth of all of the other breast tissue seems to make them fade into the background, if i press to the point of pain i can still feel something. I'm either feeling that, or some other breast structures.
Normal. See the wiki on breast development. https://www.susans.org/wiki/Breast
Most of us older transitioners get limited with Tanner 4 development.

Sometimes, Tanner 5 can be reached with the help of progesterone.

« Progesterone activity also allows the full maturity of the breast and nipple development (maturity to Tanner 5 stage requires progesterone (unpublished Prior, 1989))"
I never thought that my tissue would be over the buds but I felt around and actually felt them under my breasts I guess they grew
I'm still growing and rounding. Hugs. Shannon
