Good Morning everybody.
I am new to this site, i found it while parusing trans articles and my biggest hurtle is trying to find a local therapist who i can talk some things through.
This is alittle odd for me. in the past decade or so since i was a teenager i have always wanted to put on dresses even tho i never have. a few times on my days off when no one was home i tried on girls panties but the fact remains i would want to be a woman. i want society to see me as a woman but im not sure... im kinda confused.
i want to be beautiful and i feel im not as a man.
i tried to join the army at one point and it just made me feel even more of an outcast because i was around all of these strong guys who love what they do and i was that guy who just wasnt quite the same.
i really dont know how to explain it im just ranting and im sure this is writen so poorly that its hard to understand...
i really just need to find a therapist to talk it over and see what might be going on.

Hello Vodwuar, nice to meet you. There is so much good info here and the members of this community are very supportive which makes this site a great starting place. I started seeing a therapist just recently. She has been amazing and very insightful. Just be prepared, because some sessions can be very emotionally charged depending on your past history and life events.

any tips on how to find a therapist
I guess it depends on where you live? Do you live in the United States, or Australia, or where? Lots of people from around the world on these forums... :)
I live in the US. Colorado
I found my gender therapist through this web site:
https://therapists.psychologytoday.com/rms/
I used that web site to find my own therapist and found a good match, just 10 min driving distance from my home. :) You will also likely want to contact the therapist and/or their practice directly and ask just how much experience they have with transgender clients before scheduling your first appointment.
