Title: Voice/throat issues since last week
Post by: LatrellHK on June 24, 2016, 10:16:06 AM
So I'm about a month in and starting last week my throat has been killing me. Not too bad but it feels like I'm constantly clearing it when I talk. Every other sentence it seems. A lot more coughing too. And with that my throat just feels sore quite often. It's really bad when I'm having a conversation with friends, its just in semi constant irritation.  I've read that it can be due to my voice shifting but I've only been on for a month so is that a realistic explanation?

yeah it's pretty common. I know when I started my throat was a little sore and horse. People always thought I was sick. Drink warm beverages, green tea helps.

Yeah same. After only a month I felt like I has a constant sore throat but it wasn't painful. It was an unexpected side effect as I thought voice changes wouldn't happen thar early. For me it went away after 3 months or so. Also there's the starting a conversation sounding deep and then your voice sounding feminine again after you finish your sentence to look forward too ;)

Ugh, I'll try remembering that.
Like now, as I sit down attempting to eat, my throat is quite sore. So I'm gonna take the green tea advice as it feels like I've been talking a lot when I only recently said a sentence or two.

Like it oddly has that feeling I get when holding my breath for whatever reason. Only goes away if I deeply breathe in through my nose and out my mouth every once in a while.
