Hi girls
I have now started speech therapy sessions to correct the slight voice raspiness that resulted from my VFS with Yeson about 6 months ago. At the end of the session, I asked my speech therapist for a printed copy of the vocal exercises, but to my surprise, she didn't have anything to give me. Instead, she recommended that I should record every session so I can practise at home (well, too late now to record the last session, right!??... sigh!)
Does anyone on here know any useful app for recording such encounters without having a close mouth contact with the phone microphone?
many thanks in advance!
Ritana
I recorded the lessons at Yeson just using my phone's 'voice memo' app. The quality was pretty good, amazingly.
Thanks Denjin!
Was that on an iphone or android?

Just the built in one on my iPhone. Not sure about options on other platforms.
If you are communicating by laptop you already have a built in mic. If you have a desktop you can get a microphone for next to nothing. These record nicely. While your at it you can download a pitch monitoring app. which will monitor your pitch as you talk. They give you visual clues in the form of a meter as to determine your pitch.
I like to use one app called Recorder Pro (free version) for iPhone. I believe it is a great option.
