Does anybody know of any kind of transgender support groups in the Southeast Michigan area?

I could really use the company.

There is a group for MTF TS only that meets on the second Sunday of every month at Pure Laser in Rochester Hills, MI, which is a nice suburban area on the north side of Detroit.  Just call and ask for Dawn and tell her you want to attend the next Sunday afternoon meeting.

Hello, and yes, there is a wonderful support group.  We meet every Tuesday at Affirmations, wich is the GLBT community center in Ferndale on 9 Mile, just West of Woodward.  Our group is called TG rap, and includes both MTF's and FTM's.  We meet from 7-9, but people arrive anytime within that time frame.  If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me and I'll do my best to help.

Don't forget Camp Trans (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camp_Trans)!
It's in western Michigan around August 1-9 this year. About 100 trans-people will be camping there.
This is a nominal semi-protest/alternative to the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michigan_Womyn%27s_Music_Festival)

I live in Michigan, and I'm going to camp trans!! I'm super excited.

Also, i love Affirmations sooo much. The staff is really really nice. I wish I could go to the support group, but unfortunately it is a bit of a drive to get to Ferndale.
