Heya! My breasts have finally started developing from being on HRT, but I notice stretch marks appearing and increasing in size on my boobs, so I was wondering if anybody had any tips on handling stretch marks? Thanks in advance! ^_^
Maybe try aloe vera as a preventative. Here is all I could dig up: http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/stretch-marks/diagnosis-treatment/treatment/txc-20169167 (http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/stretch-marks/diagnosis-treatment/treatment/txc-20169167)
Pile on the lotion every night before bed, in thick layers. Use a thick cream with quality or natural ingredients. Use the likes of bio oil on the scars to reduce the colour, although unfortunately not much can be done to erase them fully.
lotion all the way! Use a lotion that moisturizes. I started getting stretch marks, but then I started using lotion and that helped, and no more stretch marks appearing after that. Still have the ones that appeared though. I personally use Nivea Cocoa butter and it does wonders and smells good!
Palmers Cocoa Butter
From my natural hormones (Testosterone) I got stretch marks on my hips, and thighs which I thought is quite unusual for a biological man but who knows. They never bothered me much when I was in my teen years but last couple of years I got very self-conscious of them (because sexual opportunities can happen at any time) - my hips are white stretch marks and I'm a pale person generally so that didn't bother me as it's barely visible but my thighs were EXTREMELY purple after 5-7 years, which generally they turn white so I knew they were going to stay purple.
So I asked my mum and she told me about 'bio-oil' so I put that one and after a week I forgot to put it on, and don't put it on anymore but after just 2 days the stretch marks went from a deep purple to a light purple, and after a week to white, and they're still visible but for me I feel less bothered about them so I didn't need to put it on anymore it was just the colouration that bugged me. So I'd suggest Bio-Oil it's also good for acne scarring and so on. And if I want the stretch marks gone completely I will go back to it as it's not too pricey for the wonders it does.
Thanks for all the advice! You've all been really helpful! :D I think I'm going to try cocoa butter, but if that doesn't work then I'll try bio oil ^_^
I put Palmers on my breasts, nipples, hips, and belly.
