Title: My (Mariah) retirement as (S) Global moderator
Post by: Mariah on July 15, 2016, 07:31:23 AM
I have been asked to inform everyone that I have retired from being a (S) Global Moderator. It is with a heavy heart yesterday that I asked to be retried from my job as (S) Global Moderator yesterday. This last month I was reminded of why it was time to do so as I get so much closer to my SRS which is now only 3 months and 12 days away for me. I have to balance my health needs of the Epilepsy, Chronic Kidney Disease, and Cystinuria along with taking care of my family. All of which is on top of my being transgender and intersex. It's never been an easy task to do just to balance all of things and family yet I have managed well to do so. Yet last month I was reminded of that difficulty again. This is something I needed to so I can focus on the rough many months I have ahead as I get everything done in a mad dash yet balance those things plus friends. I will still be around the forums and still be interacting with everyone as I have been doing for the last two years. Hugs

My thanks to you Mariah.

I had a long journey making it to becoming an active member here. I have had a long year and a half since then. You supported and helped me and countless others along that path. It has been such a relief to know you are there. Thank you for all the time you put in to keep this site running smoothly and helping members out along the way.

If that were not enough, you have also been a mentor as I trained to become a moderator. You have advised and literally, re-wrote the book on how to become a moderator.

I hope your health issues smooth out as you continue on your path to becoming the person on the outside we have come to know from within you.

With loving warmth,

Joanna

I have seen come so very very in the time that I was moderator. You have grown in so many ways and grown enough where you were able to eventually take on that very role I took on over a year ago myself. Your so very welcome and I was more than happy to do it. I tried to and still try to remember everyone one of us beats to a different drum and we all learn and go trough our lives and transitions differently. When training and mentoring you I had to remember that, but when going back to the others I have helped do that with I did exactly that for each of them because we all beat to a different drum. We learn, experience feel, and go through things in different ways. It's been my pleasure to be able to assist you as I have and the many others that I have too.

I hope they do too. It's going to take time and getting that right balance to accomplish that for sure. Hugs

Hi Mariah

As you well know you and I have become very close friends and Like you I retired from my job too and every day is Saturday for me now. But I have taken on a new position with Your True Gender Inc. as a member of the board of directors with Jessica Lynn President and speaker and that is something that I love and enjoy more than anything. So I will still be here just not even close to what I was In the past. But you will be hearing from me a lot as we do have our phones and Internet connections. Hope to see you when you have your surgery.

Big Hug's
Lyndsey Marie Burke
