Title: T growth and packing
Post by: Peep on July 15, 2016, 08:56:50 AM
I've just started packing pre-T and I've realised that if i do get on T in the next couple of months, things might change down there and what's okay now might change! Did you/ how much did you have to adjust how you pack once you had T growth? I'm talking both STPs and solid packers/ socks etc

I just want to know so i can hold off on buying anything expensive if i won't be able to keep using it >.>

My downstairs grew to the point that I could no longer STP easily, so I had to stop using an STP and go back to just packing. Not the end of the world, but it definitely feels like a waste to own a very expensive 3-in-1 when you're only using it for one of the functions with any consistency.

I guess holding off on buying anything is a good idea then - not that i can actually afford to spend the money :P
Is just packing okay in terms of rubbing/ chafing? sorry if that's tmi

Personally for me the area down there at least doubled probably tripled in size in the first month. It can be sensitive down there but it will ease up over time, so packing would be no problem. So far the downstairs area was only sensitive for the first month and then went back to feeling how it was before.

I don't STP but if you have your downstairs fitting nice with a STP and then your downstairs grows it might not fit so nice afterwards.

I haven't had any issues with it. I wear a really slim harness under a pair of boxer briefs to keep everything in place, but the material of the packer is in contact with my downstairs most of the time. It can be a little sensitive some days, but not too bad.

A little late on the reply, but I use a regular packer with a jock strap, and I haven't had to change anything since starting testosterone. This was actually one of my main concerns pre-testosterone, but my endocrinologist assured me it wouldn't be a problem, and she was correct!

I got more sensitive when I started T, I had to be much more careful packing. I couldn't do activities that cause lots of friction between that area and the packer (I tried biking once, that was a mistake) and I tended to have to take breaks from packing because it would get irritated. It also depends on the material of the packer. After I stopped growing and the sensitivity died down, I was able to resume how I used to pack.

I find that packing with a sock actually reduces the chafing from some types of underwear.

It's too hot here in the South in the summer to pack with Mr. Softy (Mr. Limpy to you I guess, he's had a name change).
