Title: FFS and swelling under the eye
Post by: HappyMoni on July 18, 2016, 10:06:38 PM
Hi all!

I am recovering from FFS surgery from about three weeks ago. It involved Brow Shave, Nose Job, Face Lift, Upper Eye Lids and Fat Transfer to check. Under the one eye, it is still swollen. The other eye is now normal looking. Last week the doctor said it was okay. I am a bit worried though, so I was wondering about the experiences of others. There are some other places on my face that are still swollen. Thanks to anyone who responds.
Moni
PS Yeah, I got my legal name change today. Hot dog!

Uneven swelling is perfectly normal, you shouldnt worry about that. Your face will be swollen in some places more in some places less for the next two months. After 2-3 months most of swelling should mostly be gone, only minor longer lasting swelling will take its time.

Congratulations on name change!

wow 3 weeks for the eye swelling. The way the docs and other patients have talked about it, that swelling (and forehead swelling ) was minimal.

Which doc did you go to for surgery? Also I've heard eating a cup of pinapple a day helps with swelling.
