What's Missing From the Conversation About Transgender Kids
By Jesse Singal July 25, 2016
As anyone who has read much about the subject can attest, the discussion about kids with gender dysphoria — that is, discomfort with their body and the feeling that they should have been born the other sex, or that they are the other sex — can get extremely heated and tricky.
Excellent and unusually well-balanced article in New York Magazine.
I was actually impressed by the way the author handled the topic of desistance. It's important to consider, but I hate when it's used to argue against ANY kid transitioning.
