~Comment Below Your Desired Height And Why!~
Mine is 5'11". Why: Because that's what it is and I don't want to make myself unhappy wishing for something impossible to achieve. 5'11" is not terribly tall anyway.
Anything in the 5'8" and up range so i could be average height lol
I don't notmally try to wish about things i can't change, but I'm 5'2" and really dysphoric about my height so any difference would be great. I got lifts for my shoes that take me up almost two inches, but it feels like wearing high heeled shoes which isn't great
Too bad we can't trade a few inches!
There was a guy in my college that was 5'2", or maybe even shorter. Everyone called him Stump. But everyone also liked him so the nickname was not an insult in any way. He was on the wrestling team and was very popular. So, I know you can make this work!! :-)
I'm about 6ft, and I am content with my height.

I am female. MTF.
I am 6 foot and I am fine with my height, but would love to be a couple of inches shorter. What I wish I had was smaller feet...so hard to find shoes that fit.

I'm 5'12" ;-) I wouldn't mind 3 inches less but as we all know: size does NOT matter, after all....

Thanks to the ravages of age and gravity, I am now 1 inch close to my Goal Height of 5'8". In about another 127 years I'd be there
I am 5"9.5 and really like it most days....but sometimes become self conscious among short people.
I'm 6' tall and always wished I wasn't so tall, banging my head and arms, and squeezing my legs in cars and planes... the badly designed toilets... mirrors too low, toilet stuck between bath and sink... beds...
or it's not that I'm so tall, it's just that most people are shorter and everything is designed for shorter people.
and now that I'm transitioning, well... I can't go unnoticed ;D
wish I could get me any shoes
I guess 5' 9" would be reasonable to ask
Im 5'5 but id love to be 6'2, it doesnt really bother me though
I'm 5'5" and I like it.
Height only bothers me when others point it out. Here in New Mexico, I look like a giant of a women, even though I'm only 5'10". If I moved back to Oregon, very few people would even notice that. I'm fine with my height, but I really need to move for more reasons than just that.
Ideally, I would have liked to be 5'7" or 5'8" (I'm 5'6").
I would prefer 5'7"/5'8" because I would rather been seen as a short male than a tall female. I've known males as 5'5" and females at 5'8", but usually (at least with the people I've talked to) it's the other way around.
I'm happy that I'm at least 5'6" though, and it usually doesn't bother me.
I am 5' 7" but I wish I was 5' 3"
I am 6' would like to be a bit smaller but it doesnt bother me to much. I live in the netherlands and i am pretty much the average height (for men) maybe a bit below, I see enough woman who are roughly my height so i wont really stand out much becaus of that.

I agree with Heather in every way.

If you don't mind can I ask why you like being that height, I'm still a bit insecure about mine.
I'm close to being 5"6 but would love to be 5"7 because I'd be much more comfortable being on the average of men's heights. Maybe further on T I might get there.
I'm 5'3". AMAB non-binary. The girl in me is happy with my height. The guy would like to be 3" taller. Couldn't count the number of girls that turned me down because of my height. :(. Quite glad of it now though. Most of my dresses would be too short if I was taller. Feet fit into the female range at a UK 8. Happy about this also.
I'm about 5'8" non-binary transguy. Since I was a kid I have dreamed about being 6' and androgynous...
That said, I am actually fine with my height. I see taller and shorter cis guys all the time and a lot about my height.

Hmm, interesting thread! As a kid, I wanted to be taller than my dad, who is 6'2".
So that didn't happen. :)
I'm about 5'5", taller than my Mom and sister who are 5'1"-5'2", so that's something. According to my physio, my posture can be improved, so that might gain me a little. And I'm usually wearing thicker soled shoes like my Docs, so that adds an inch.
I'd love to be 5'7". 5'8" would be even better. Time to work on the stretches again, I think.
I was at Pride yesterday, and paying attention to men's heights. I am taller than some, it turns out, even as is. That made me happy.
I'm 5'8"-5'9"ish and would love to be 5'3"

I'm between 5'9" and 5'10" perhaps a bit tall, but i don't think a lot about it. I am thankful that my feet are smaller - size 10, that makes a huge difference for shoes. So i'd probably stay at my height if given a choice.
I'm a mtf, low dose E type. I'm 5' 9.5". Would love to be 5' 6" or 5' 7", but would be satisfied with 5' 8". In my 20s I was 5'10". Took me 30 years to lose half an inch. Maybe E will make this go a little quicker :)
Paige :)
I'm 5'6" and I'm pretty happy with it.
My ideal height would be 5'6". I'm 5'10", and while I know size doesn't matter. I envy shorter people.

Partially because it is what it is, and it's better to accept the things you can't change.
For practical reasons, everyone I've ever dated has (coincidentally) been my height or shorter. I doubt that trend would change at this point, so not much pressure to be taller.
I also do judo, and having a lower center of gravity than most of the guys I'm competing against is an excellent thing.
In my best dreams, 5'9" would be awesome. As it is, it's 5'5". I don't feel bad about it, I feel bad about my posture and I would like to remember constantly to walk like a ballet dancer. I try to, but I look stiff...
Here a lot of guys are just a little taller than me, I think that 5'7" is pretty common. Being a short guy has advantages in terms of agility, so it's a good deal. But I would love to be sooo elegant and height is part of that. I want to be lean and willowy and strong, to be precise. That's my idea of cool.
What bothers me is to see girls that are taller than me even here and the fact that if I were to move in Northern Europe I would be awfully short for a guy.

I can relate. The walk like a ballet dancer is something I hadn't considered. My posture isn't great but if I try to walk taller I think my chest and stomach seem bigger; although that's probably just in my head. And I'm the same with the wanting to be elegant thing. You see androgynous people on tv and in magazines who are around 5"9 but here I am chunky, chubby and short.
And the last thing you said really bothers me. Even 15yr old school girlstend to be taller than me >:(. For some reason the population is getting taller. By the time I'm 80 I'll probably look like a freak.
I was a little over 5' 7", then I broke my back in a bad accident. Now I'm 5' 6.5"
I'm okay-ish with my height. It's sort of in the middle range, I'm on the tall side for a woman :( , but just a bit shorter than most guys :)
Alas when it comes to my family, I am way taller than all the other women, my Mom is 5' 4" (maybe even less now she's gotten old), and her sisters are all the same height as her. Her mother was 5' 0"
On the other hand, I'm the same height as my Dad and my brother. So I always try to sit if we ever have any group family photos.
Younger people tend to be taller, and so I'm about the same height (or even a little shorter) than some of the younger women in our office.
I just couldn't have a male partner that was shorter than me though (sorry, I'm so shallow).
My boyfriend is 5' 10" and is built like a gorilla, so I feel pretty feminine when I'm out and about with him.

At my best, i was 5'9", which is still listed on my driver's license. Now, however, at 64, I've taken all my measurements so i can chart my progress the next few years. i'm currently 5'7 3/4". Would l like to be shorter? Sure, why not? i'd also would have preferred to have been born female, but i can't worry too much about things i can not change. now, FFS could be a viable option in a few years, given the poor odds that i can become passable.
Laura
I think Im 5'4 and dont mind it. I suppose that makes me a short guy but Ive met a lot of guys rougly my height and Ive never felt short, though that could be a problem with age since I wont grow anymore
I am 5' 5'' 3''' or in my local metrics 166cm. Where i live I am very tall for a girl which sucks but maybe I would be a better fit in europe or america.
I would love to find a taller guy or same height girl one day.
I am 6'3" with a half inch added onto that. I don't mind my height at all. In clubs I frequently dance in 3 to 4 inch heels, and I am the tallest person on the floor.
I don't want to change my 6'2". My house has 9 foot ceilings and for once, every room I walk into seems large and roomy. It's strange how a celling a foot higher than normal can make such a big difference.
anything below 6 ft. I'm 6'2''... I would like to be shorter for practicality; everything in my house is built for smaller people. :P
N.
I am at my ideal height. I'm short for a man but not little people short. I work with other men shorter than me, actually. I wouldn't want to be taller. I already crouch down too much to talk to people who are shorter than me and it's hard on my spine. I've been this height for a while and I'm happy with it. :D
I'm 5'10 and I love it. Only thing I would want is to be thicker in weight ... Because it's hard to find jeans in double 00 in my height and inseam .... Only Delia sometimes carry that length and jean size

5'10.
Luckily, I am.
Weird but true. I've always believed I was 5' 10" - I was last measured in my late teens. When I went in for my first appointment seeking hormones they measured me and I'm really 5' 8.25" (173cm y'all). Not complaining at all but I'd love to be two inches shorter for blending purposes. :)
I'm 5'2 and want to be at least 6 feet maybe between 6 feet and 6.5. I want to tower over everyone.
I am happy at 5'6" and would wish for no shorter or taller. I feel like I am at the height that I am taller than some girls but very rarely the tallest person in a room. Every once in a while for the high shelves I'd like to be temporarily taller :p
Well, I measured my height (not done that in years), and annoyingly I seem to have gained some height. I was just over 5' 7", back in my 20's, then I lost half an inch due to a severe spinal injury 16 years ago. Now I seem to be back to just over 5' 7"
Dammit! >:(
I'd prefer to be 5' 6"
*sigh*
5' 11. I like that height... it works out great with topshelf reaching ability. It does get cumbersome shaving my legs though... talk about "legs for days". Ha ha ha ha...
I am 5'6, I used to want to be shorter, like 5'4 but most of these days I don't think about it as I'm not that tall for a woman. And girls from my generation are getting taller.
"Comment Below Your Desired Height"
Tall enough to see over my insecurities. :)
I'm 5' 5"
Hugs, Devlyn
I'm 5'8", with legs long enough to reach all the way to the floor. ;D I'm happy with it, but I can always pop on some heels if I want to unnerve people. >:-)
I am 5ft 10 inches tall and quite slim - 10st 3lbs. This is tall for a female in Scotland but there are taller cis girls around. I am confident to wear up to a 2 or 3 inch heel.
I'm a 5'2" ftm with a very small bone structure. I don't really know how it happened because I come from a pretty tall family. The women are almost all 5'7" plus with quite masculine builds, the men 6' - 6'4" with quite feminine builds :P
I love being this small. Maybe this is early transition (or non-binary) talk, but the fact I'm trans feels much more relevant to who I am than the fact that I feel slightly male. I like that my trans history is essentially written into my height - it makes me feel an odd sense of pride, and that pride makes me stronger. That said, I wouldn't turn down another couple of inches.
I'm a big enough Tolkien fan that the hobbit comments just make me smile.
There is one thing that genuinely bothers me - I've had a number of people bring up my height, assuming I have a problem with it. When I tell them I don't, they will literally argue with me, trying to convince me that I must feel inadequate as a short male in this society. But my problem is with them, not myself. I don't understand humans sometimes :P
I'm 6' 2" and generally content with it.
At times I wish I was smaller but honestly I'd rather have tall problems than short problems. Does make clothes shopping more annoying though.
6'2 or 6'3
Always liked the tall factor. As a woman, I am tall, but as the man I want to be, I'd just be considered short or average. lol Time to wear platform boots and pass as a rockstar.
I'm 5'7 and don't mind really. I would mind being 5'10-6', that would be quite cool. But in general I'm not an abnormal height for a guy around here. A lot of guys are in the 5'7 to 6' range around here, so there's not really a massive height difference in most cases.
I am 5`8 and i would love to be in the range of 5`2 to 5`4

I'm 5' 6ish and fine with it.

5' 2", but ideally I would be tall enough to not have all pants needing hemming. If pants makers would make shorter pants that would be nice.
I'm 5'9 and wouldn't want to change it.
I'm 5' 10", and I'm okay with that. My brothers are well over 6', so if I had been able to get on T in my teens, I'm sure I would be too, but I'm still taller than both my parents and almost all extended family, too.
Well, I'm confused again, but in a good way. I thought I was 5' 6" tall (after losing nearly an inch in height in a serious accident), but I measured myself recently and got my height as 5' 7", which I was mightily annoyed about.
But today, I had a check-up at the doctors, and the nurse measured my height, and she said I was 5' 6".
So that's a relief, I'm back to the height I prefer, whew!
I'm 6'1" and love being the same height as my girlfriend. I'm skinny and like having long legs. It will get me clocked once I go full time but I'm not sure how important that is to me anyway; I don't think I would subtract height even if I could.
5'9. I don't want to be really tall but I don't want to be anywhere near short either.
I'm 4'11 and I'm always going to be that height. ;_;
I'm 5'7". It's... okay. It could be worse. I'm just packing as much muscle and width onto my frame as possible to compensate.
But I definitely have something of a Napoleon complex: I'd be 6'4"-6'6" if I could choose.
It's odd, though, because there are days when I'm out in public and every single person I see is either shorter than me or just about the same height. Other days? It's like I'm a toddler in a sea of Nordics.
6'1 there plenty of cis woman who are tall height is least of my worries ...hmmm shopping one day i saw a cis girl she was like prob 6'5 but perfectly proportioned in every other way i felt sorry for her i wondered how she would find a man that measured up to her ...next thing her boy friend turns up he's like 7 foot ...... :)
