At the moment most of my underwear are basic and practical because of the store I buy my clothes from. I want to start buying online to get more lacy things.

I'm boring.  Jockey Elance cotton briefs or Maidenform boy shorts for everyday use, and Maidenform Flexee high top briefs for when I need a little more control on my surplus skin (I lost 75 lbs, so I've had some stretching leftovers), or to support industrial-strength tucking.

Bikini style for me. Ain't got much to tuck, and super comfy. I don't care if I am 50. I don't do granny panties.

I just wear plain cotton hipsters.  They're comfortable and cheap.  :)

I usually wear boyshorts, bikini and hipsters. A lot of the stuff I get is quite comfy and cute so, its both practical and sexy I guess. I avoid lace undies cause of the irritation, sensitive skin woes.

I've got a very nice combo lace on top and cotton base I got from Target thats' really functional and pretty.

I will have to do plain. Can't be sexier then the Mrs.  >:-)

Mundane and boring. I'm a muggle when it comes to underwear.

I mostly wear bikini style but i dont think the are mundane or anything i like how they look but they are also not sexy.

Plain cotton briefs. I have a few sexy pairs (mostly gifts from my wife), but they're wicked itchy and uncomfortable.

On the other hand, I owe her for years of expecting HER to wear stuff like that at special times. ;) So they're not everyday wear, but I do keep 'em around.

All of the above. I have many types of underwear that i wear according to my outfit and my mood. I try to color coordinate my bra and my panties (i have no idea why but i do)

I like micro-fiber hipsters or bikinis. No baggy pouch, no chafing seams. I like girly colors and ribbons/bows but not much for cartoon prints.

That is, when she lets me wear ANY panties at all!!

Marvle, dc, anime, so nerdy for me. But that most of my clothes anyways.

A mix of practical off the shelf / supermarket stuff as it does the job right up to more expensive sets.  I'm not one for things like superheros and all sorts around my areas but my OH goes nuts for that stuff.

I like French style full back. I have found that I really just don't like cotton panties. I also like retro style tap type panties.

I prefer practical cotton briefs, in un-boring colours and preferably with flowers on them.

Depending on my mood will wear either a thong or bikini style underwear. Style wise I have a mixture of everyday to sexy. I would consider the majority non-sexy. Before surgery I generally wore boy-shorts or bikini style underwear.

I go for nerdy, if anything.  But usually it's nothing.  Which I wish I could make my wife forget, because I always want to tell her about it and feel slutty.   :P

i do prefer high cut panties, but very feminine styles. I always wear satins/nylons with lace front or panels. I spent a lot of money down there and an investment like what I have needs to be covered in feminine panties.

Naturally the style of clothing I wear also has a bearing on the cut of panties, ie lower cut shorts or jeans require bikini briefs. I wear black knee length skirts to work, with elastic waist band, so cut of panties is not as critical so I usually wear what is next in line in the panty drawer. I actually do not have any plain cotton panties at the moment, all nylons or satins.

After my srs I always had visions of wearing sexy thong panties, but I did try a few types and did not find them comfortable. I have a few tight body hugging dresses which so off my curves and VPL, which a thong would be ideal. After speaking to my local lingerie store, they suggested a full cut brief. The lingerie fitter also told me some girls love wearing thongs and some girls hate wearing thongs. They ordered me in a nice cream colored full brief, with lace front panel.There wasn't a huge selection as I am very small and I wasn't wearing plain granny panties. I never in my wildest dreams ever thought I would be wearing full brief panties at my age, (currently 35) but they are comfortable and eliminate VPL on tight clothing.

I usually also buy lighter colors such as cream, latte, light pink and nude, then I do not have the worry of panties showing through when wearing lighter colored clothing.

I love wearing sexy underwear, especially after SRS. I wear a lot of thongs/g-strings. A thong is an acquired taste. For me they are the most comfortable style of underwear. My collection ranges from plain every day type of thong.. to the super sexy g-string.. the more lacy the better. At night I sleep in a bikini style panty under my nightie.

Bra's - I mostly wear push up bra's with an underwire. Every day I mostly wear padded bra t-shirt bra's. I also love to wear sexy lacy bra's for my man  ;) but always a push up bra.

I love wearing lingerie and have a number of sexy lingerie outfits.

I know no one actually sees my underwear besides my man.. but when wear my more sexy underwear.. its something just for me. Also for me sexy lacy underwear shows my femininity

I don't really care for thongs and gstrings but I do have a few. I like cute and practical panties. I like florals and bows I don't care for boy shorts but feminine underwear

thongs are fun for special events, and body hugging silk, but not really for everyday. I don't worry about VPL or colors showing through as I am a bit of a show off

Shelly Maree : I spent a lot of money on it too, but that just makes me less likely to want to waste more money on fancy underpants. ;) Actually, kidding aside, there *is* one important note - make sure the nylon etc. panties at least have an all-cotton crotch, because there is a risk of yeast infections with less breathable fabrics.

Yeah, the type of material for panties is much discussed topic for women, either in beauty magazines or numerous websites. All have pro's and con's of cotton v's nylons. I always ensure when purchasing panties, the cotton crotch lining is of good length (some are very small) and I like my bottom to be covered for comfort. I have discussed this topic with the lingerie fitter I generally use, and she assured me it is a personal preference thing.So far my body has adapted to my female bits perfectly, (my opinion ) with very few issues, even in the early post months.

I do prefer the feminine touch and always try to buy matching bras when possible.

A few years ago one of my staff members stayed after work and had a couple of drinks and opted to stay the night instead of travelling late.(our apartment is behind and above our store front). Anyway long story, but when getting ready for work next morning She borrowed clean panties and shirt. She was concerned that she had never worn nylon panties with pantyhose, only ever cotton. Yet I am the other way round. She said she had plenty of nylon panties, but only ever cotton with pantyhose.

Obviously we all have different ideas of our personal health and everyone body would no doubt react different to materials and beauty products.

Cotton thongs, cheekinis.  I like Calvin Klein thongs and sport bras the most.  Bralettes are a win for me too.

Sexy, lacy, deep, firm & black! I think I need a whore's lingerie!

Generally underwired lacy padded plunge bras, deep corset-like suspender belts and sheer barely black stockings.

But I don't like trash. I like my bras to have deep side panels underwired cups, nice pretty wide straps and 3 hook deep clasps to give me full bust support.

My suspender belts are like corsets, with really deep supportive sides and 6 deep hook clasps. They need to have 3 suspenders per stocking, with metal clasps.

Stockings need to be sheer, but with properly formed feet, re-enforced toes and heels and strong welts to take my suspender clasps.     

I have become addicted to the Cosabella "Never Say Never" thong. They are a combination of lace and cotton and unlike most thongs have just enough material to cover the bits if you're pre or non op. Perfect combination of sexy and practical, and in a wide range of colors. They are pricey but soooooooo worth it  :)

Good ol' "Granny Panties" for me.

I would say practically sexy... unless the day required practically adorable... I mean you have to pretty much go out of your way to find a pair that are hideous or to be embarrassed to wear....

Anything nerdy is what I wear. As long as its comic book or scifi related, I tend to want it. I always think its funny to have something geeky spread across my bum :)
