You should probably start to see some small changes from the hormones after a month or so. The changes are small and slow but over time they can make a real difference!

My changes weren't "small and slow."
After only a couple of weeks I started to notice nipple swelling and increased sensitivity.
After 2 months. Wowsa!
I swear. That stuff is like Miracle-Gro.
There's no way I could take my shirt off in public now.
I'd get arrested.

I second Jane Emily's experience.  I went from moobs to Tanner stage II, enlarged aereolae, nipples everted, hard masses behind, in under two weeks after starting Estrodiol at a low level via patch.  My tank tops are getting tight.  The pads I had been using to 'stuff' are now too large, and at this rate will be unnecessary in another month.  I blame a high prolactin level for priming me, but that's just a guess.

I guess I don't have a problem with patches... ;)

The scary part is you do not know how big thy will be and if your hoping to not be super big you become worried about size you will end up with

I was too old (58) to worry about size or anything else about my body appearance any more. I just took the same meds mentioned and let it slide. Things did get a lot better. As with the boobs, still sub-B from a start as downright flat. Tanner-IV. I do not stand out with the fellow mooby retirees in the shower room. They are bigger than I am! I am actually trying! But I have no hair on mine! I was off of Spiro for 6 months to regain the minerals it flushed then resumed with reduced dose.
As my sister in her soft Texas drawl said to me "Enjoy the ride". More changes ahead!

I went from moobs to Tanner stage II.

I had a head start with moobs too. Then every day -  lessy mooby, more booby.
Now - just boobs.
