Hello. I was one day shy of 3 months on T when I started bleeding...now it's been 6 days and I'm still bleeding. Is this normal? Or do I need to get my levels checked?
I experienced this too, and they became more and more spaced out til they stopped. My doctor told me menstrual cycles often dont stop completely until 6+ months on T
You're probably fine. It can take up to 6 months for it to completely stop. This may be the "last hurrah" so to speak. If guys haven't stopped by 6 months and their levels otherwise look good, my doctor prescribes depo provera shots to knock it out.
You should be getting your levels checked quarterly, so if you haven't had them assessed recently I would maybe consider doing that just to see how things are looking.
Had my levels checked last month...Dr said they were perfect
Day ten of bleeding....got my levels checked yesterday...hoping I get the results today
how much bleeding are you having, number of pads or tampons? Most times it is more of an inconvience and bleeding is one thing we want done ASAP.
It's spotting actually...but still.
I won't get my full results until next week I found that out yesterday.
Is ten days straight typical for how it was for you pre-T? That is more than double what I was averaging, and seems like a big red flag.
Pre t, I bled maybe 4-5 days. But I was on the repo shot in March.
Anyway the Dr called me this morning with the results. I was told to up my dose of androgel because my t levels were only in the 300s. So imma see how this works.
I hope that works for you!
