The good thing about HRT, I've found, is that after a couple of months one can compare estrogen to androgen.
One can honestly ask oneself do I prefer having estrogen or androgen in my body?
It's kind of like chocolate and vanilla. Well some people hate vanilla. Some people like chocolate a little better than vanilla. Some people like chocolate a lot more than vanilla. Some people don't realize how much they hate vanilla until they've tasted chocolate. Some people realize that vanilla makes them crazy and sick and they don't want to go anywhere near it after they have been eating chocolate for a couple months.
But one finally has the opportunity for a real comparison.
<bursts through the door panting> When I saw chocolate I got here as fast as I could......hey, wait a minute....where's the chocolate?!? >:-) I've been rused!

Ha ha, I know!

You can go back and forth a few times and that will really help clarify things.
We've been led on.
And what about the strawberry (although I do prefer rasberry).
I went to a shop yesterday and had their home made chocolate ice-cream. It was so good :)
If I new estrogen and the absence of T was so incredible, I would have started HRT no matter what much sooner in life.

Women
need chocolate.
I wonder if they will come up with an ice cream delivery system for my estrogen. A whole new meaning to the term "happy ending."
Moni
How about apple fro-yo with gummy worms, airhead extremes, and gummy bears? Does it mean I'm non-binary or that I'm hungry? who knows? I definitely am hungry, though.

I came out to a friend a couple of weeks ago. She joked, "Now you'll become a chocoholic." "Too late," I said, "I've been one for years. ... Hmm. ... I guess that should have been a clue!"

Huge red flag. I actually think that should be a prominent part of the official "Am I trans?" questionnaire.
