So, two things about my dilation experience that I have some questions about. I've been dilating for about two weeks now.
First
Sometimes when I'm about to reach my full depth I feel the dilator "push" through something. Like it pierces some wall and can then do the full depth without problem.
This happened with #1 a couple times in the early days (no longer) and just happened the first time with #2 (on my fourth dilation with it ever). It's always very scary and weird feeling when it happens. But now I can get to full depth with #2 without issue (before I could only get to an inch less then full). And I'm currently discharging blood, which is of course lovely. But I suspect that will stop relatively soon as it did for #1.
I suspect this may be a lubrication issue rather than a piercing issue since the last time this happened (today) it felt rather difficult pulling the dilator out the full length, as if it was improperly lubricated. Still, the blood suggests otherwise...
Second
I've noticed after dilating that there's tons of lubricant up my butt. I asked the nurse about this awhile back and she said it's normal - I'm just again curious if others have had that experience as well and how it gets there if not a fistula?
Has anyone else had this happen to them? I'm wondering how normal it is. It DID happen with #1 and this was before Chet gave me the all-clear. And I'm not passing any feces or wind through the vagina to the best of my knowledge so I don't think I'm creating a fistula? But I could be wrong?
This is a bit of a repost from my SRS thread, but since I know not everyone reads that, I felt it would be good to ask a wider audience.
I'm not sure what that first sensation is, but I did have some luck putting lube in ahead of the dilator (I got a yeast infection kit and used the applicators for lube instead).
The second question, yeah, that's normal. The lube tends to be scraped off at the entrance of the vagina and then it liquefies at body heat and drips down to go everywhere. :) It probably isn't "in" your butt so much as all over it, but that can be hard to tell apart. I would find lube halfway up my buttcrack as well as on the anus itself. (Also, a fistula would not lead to the vaginal contents ending up in the butt without ALSO having some of the obvious symptoms that you list.)
I went with Suporn 1 month ago :) Its normal for me to have a hard time getting that last inch... I find it helps to give it a rotation or two and then it goes... I'll also wiggle it a bit, "'dynamic dilation"... I like to do the wiggle because I imagine air getting stuck in there and I have to do that anyway... I get lube all up my butt too and I had a little blood when I went up to the "large" 34mm dilator for a while... I use the medium to warm up first... Sounds "normal" to me if any of this can be considered 'normal'!!! .)
