Title: GRS question.
Post by: supergirl23 on August 17, 2016, 02:18:17 PM
I am starting to get really anxious about starting my transition but I have a question about my GRS. So I have a problem with sensation in the tip of my penis. so much so that I masturbate prone. I just want to know how much sensitivity I should have in order for my post op sex life to be successful?

That is something you will have to discuss with your surgeon when the time comes to make sure you are happy with the results. My surgery is an older flavor where the entire glans was relocated to form the clitoris. Some surgeons reduce the size to make it appear more realistic and sometimes it's split with part used for the clitoris and the other part placed at the base of the vagina. A surgeon may offer the option of which procedure will be used in your surgery. Decide which result is most desirable for you and chose you surgeon based on that.

If sensitivity is important, You will most likely want a surgeon who favor sensitivity over appearance.
