Hi everyone. I've been looking through the forums and thought maybe it was time to sign up and introduce myself. I'm really just starting out on this whole journey. I've been "different" for as long as I can remember, but because of a lot of things I always pushed away anything that could make me be seen as different. I've recently started making changes in my life, including facing my depression and financial situation, so I wanted to address this too. I'm only just beginning to figure things out. I really have no idea where on the spectrum I am, but I'm pretty sure I'm there somewhere. I've started seeing a therapist for my depression and am planning on bringing this up when we meet next week. I'll try to share what's going on in the future. Nice to finally reach out to be part of the group.

Welcome to the site.
Not all therapists specialize in gender issues. You should bring it up but they may want to refer you to a gender therapist.
Hope it all goes well.
With warmth,
Joanna
Welcome!
There are many wonderful people here who will offer insight and support. Glad to hear you already have engaged the help of a therapist.
