For psychologist

Try http://www.serenityonsouth.com.au/; Juliette Lovell.  If you get a referral under the Medicare "Health Care Plan" from your doctor, you can claim a Medicare rebate.  6 visits, then report to Dr, addition referral, 4 more visits.  Current price is $210 with abt $124 rebate.  Also can be covered under private.

For endocrinologist, there are 2 but require GP referral.  The endocrinologist usually require sign off from a psychiatrist prior to providing HRT.  However, there are a few doctors that I believe will prescribe HRT themselves.  I don't know of there names.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/transhealth.wa/ is Trans In WA.

Some of the things I found during my search is they don't have provider numbers with either Medicare and/or a private health.  In other words, you may have to pay for the whole lot.

I found a perfect therapist, but they had no provider numbers, so I was out of pocket $200 plus each time.  And in some cases, within the same practice, it varied on their qualifications, as only some qualifications are eligible for provider numbers.

So ask whether they have provider numbers.  Serenity on South certainly covers both Medicare and Private health providers.

Beware, that appointments may be 3 months in advance, so get organised quickly.  Ensure that they deal with the issues you wish.  I made an appt. with an  Endocrinologist referred to by my GP, in Dec for March, only to be told, sorry we do not  deal with that aspect and referred me to another.  2 months later, I finally say an  Endocrinologist that deals with GD.

So PLEASE check when making the appt. that they can service your request.
