Hello my name is Mikka after a few months of research and deciding rather to transition or not, I finally got an appointment with a Dr and spoke to him about transitioning. We spoke for a bit. I told him I wanted to transition and to grow breasts. After that He prescribed me Estrogel and Teva-Spironolactone now my question is has anyone ever took those? and how long does it take to see physical effect?
*No Dosages Please*
Hi, welcome to Susan's.
I have been on E and Spiro for years. Age, genetics, getting T down and a transitioning level of E is important. It takes time, months and years.

What is the difference E and Spiro. I asked the dr I just want to grow breast for now cant i just be on E he aid well you need both you cant have one and no the other in order to work. mu other question is does Estrogel really work?
spiro supresses the testosterone... then estrogen will grow you some titties :0
Spiro is only a supression not a t blocker right?
Spiro is a blood pressure medication that has the side effect of suppressing or blocking T production. In some cases, people have enough nature estrogen go grow breast with just Spiro but normally estradiol is given to elevate the levels and speed up the process. Estrogen is a term used to describe a number of natural feminine hormones but estradiol is the base hormone that the other are created from and it's also the most powerful one.
The strange thing was the Dr didn't do blood work on my for my fist visit. Should I request blood work in 2 months after my prescription is almost done.
Should I stick to him for now since im on the lowest doseage anyways. Or should I look for a new endo?
If you have a current physical, additional blood work may not be required. When I restarted HRT, my blood work was way out of date so we ran everything that might be important.
Normally procedure is to start on a low dosage to see how your body reacts to HRT and if everything remains good, bump up to dosage over a few months to a year. You also need to indicate to your doctor that your goal is to receive a transition dosage as they may hold back if you aren't full time yet.
The endo that I see only work once a week. And his booking time takes weeks. Should I stick to one endo or can I look for another incase something does come up, or an emergency.
Congratulations! Good luck on your journey.

Second day on HRT and I feel great. No more unwanted boners. I can think more clearly, I have calmed down a lot more. I feel better about myself. Less rage and less panicking and stress. I think im off to a good start.
Congrats Mikka and good luck on your journey. Im about a week behind you ;)
