I really want an orchiectomy and I'm thinking about going further and get a vaginoplasty but for me transitioning is difficult and will probably cause more harm than good.
The problem is that it seems impossible to have these surgeries without transitioning.
Do you have any information about it? Are there some surgeons in Thailand doing them without the usual requirements?
I'm quite certain there are surgeons doing vaginoplasty without transition. I've come across a number of credible mentions of it in various places. It might take a bit of effort to find out how to manage it and I expect you'll need to pay for it yourself.

As to how to arrange it I think you'll need to find a psych who'll sign it off, and a surgeon who'll accept the letter. I'd guess you can get both easily in Thailand, but there's also surgeons outside of Thailand.

You'd need to be on either testosterone or estrogen afterwards or you'd get osteoporosis. That's bad.
I'd guess its even more difficult to get surgery without having been on HRT.

Being aware that making assumptions about other peoples' process is rarely a good thing, let me ask how it is you might want a more female body and hrt after srs without experiencing the effects of HRT before?
I would be terrified of committing to surgery without having first tried hrt. And while I knew within a week of starting hrt that I would want to stay with that forever, it's taken months to be sure enough to think I'll proceed to srs (adding progesterone last week may well be what decides it for sure).

I want a more female body but transitioning can be painful. These two surgeries affects private parts so I can get them even if I don't want to start my transition.
I see them a two connected but separate sides, for me surgeries are more important than hrt.
Actually I will take my time for srs but I'm sure that the orchie, which is my top priority right now, is going to lead to it.
I assume you're planning on taking estrogen after surgery rather than testosterone. I've been on estrogen for 8 years, still present male, and very few people know I'm trans. You could start anytime if you wanted, and its likely to make it easier to get surgery if you do. Personally I think its a good idea to try it first, just in case you found you didn't like it and that caused you to re-evaluate what you're doing.

There's a number of people on this forum who are on HRT and presenting male. You could try low dose HRT to minimise the changes. I used to do that, but I've been on a full transitioning level for a few years now. I keep facial hair to hide some changes, and dress carefully to hide my breasts and body shape.
I try as hard as I can to look feminine and even with 8 months at a full transitioning dose of estrogen, I'll not be taken for female for a long time. Your skin will change tone and texture slowly so that people who don't see you often could notice. I could easily hide my breast growth at this point and I've added more to mine than expected.

Spiro was prescribed, however it was so clear from the very start of HRT that I was experiencing change as fast as could be hoped in stopped taking it less than 2 weeks in and sure enough when we got to blood tests my testosterone levels were fully suppressed by estrogen alone, verifying my intuition.
I take it intramuscular, I'm told by people here that often suppresses T better than taking pills.

so you think I can get estrogen for few months before the orchie and I won't see massive change and then decide whether to continue transitioning or not, am I right?
I do, I will say that one thing I feared seems to have happened; HRT has had a huge impact on my sense of well being and I don't ever want to go back - I even tried and it didn't go well. Others here will tell you the same.
I have been offered an Orchi by my Group Health welfare agent I have been working with. Depending how I progress with all the interactions to my health problems and other medications, I will make the decision down the road. But I am glad I have the option as this is the furthest I can take it .
Just to chime in, I'm non-binary and just got approved for bottom surgery with E and spiro, but no RLE (after a year of trying). It can be done. Depending on where you are, you'll find it necessary to locate a sympathetic psychiatrist. I saw a few people and was told "Nobody will touch you" before a guardian angel on Susan's pointed me in the right direction. A lot of it depends on getting the right person for your letter, and demonstrating that you've really thought this stuff through.
I think I read somewhere in the forums that one can get an Orchie without RLE and letters. Does anyone know if that's true?

It was done by Dr. Arnkoff(well mostly by an intern). He really is an angel who made my dreams come true 2 times. First with the orchie now with this. He did not require a therapist letter or hormone therapy.No doubt there's other ways.
