My doctor told me not to get breast implants until after being on HRT for 2 years to give my natural breast growth a chance. What was our size after being on for 2 years? Also, did any of you get breast implants before allowing your body time to respond to the HRT?
All of my sisters have D cups or better, so I'm definitely going to hold off for the recommended amount of time before I get implants, if I will even need them.
No need for implants. Hugs Shannon
Well, both sides of my family have fairly large breasts, in the range of D - DD, so going by that I'd say I have a pretty good chance of getting to a D cup for my age. I'm 6 months in and I wear a large B, small C cup. Looking at your family is a pretty good way to gauge the size you'll end up at! ^_^ *hugs*
^hugs^
thats the advice that I have pretty much gotten from everyone else I have talked to. Thanks gals ;D
Most surgeons also would not put breast implants in a 12-year-old girl, so "wait and see what happens when you're finished developing" made sense to me as advice.
I was about a 38DD, which is also the size I am now, although a bit of weight gain has gone to my chest and the bras feel a little tight again (I'm about 7 years on HRT). My sister is 36D (which would be 38C) and my mother is 34B (which would be a 38AA? or something); my sister and I both clearly got our busty grandmother's genetics - my sister's skinny and I'm not, so I suspect she might add a cup size if she were to gain weight too.
As I understand it, on HRT your body basically goes though female puberty, though for most of us later in life. Puberty and breast development in genetic females can continue for 5 years or more. It would be wise to heed your doctor's advice and maybe then some.
I understand why many TS people consider breast implants their only option for having a shapely feminine body, but I think it's best avoided if at all possible. While in a bra and under clothes implants tend to look about the same as natural breasts, most unclothed implanted breasts look like a person wearing plastic bags in their chest to me. They are almost always obviously different in appearance and certainly so to the touch. Nothing beats the natural kind if at all possible.
I started at a larger A (gynecomastia) and i am now a 38C, at about 20 months since taking T-blockers and about 16 months on E (progesterone was added also about 6 months ago). I believe I may be headed for a D. Like you, all the women in both sides of my family are busty.
I'd definitely give the hormones time to do their thing.
full A, small b, stage 4-5 but this is at 4.5 years. My boobs finally fit my chest nicely.
38A but only three months in. My sister was a B cup before children, an EE after two kids. Mom, I have no idea, but most of the women in my family tended to run large. So we will see what happens.
My first bra was a 36A (but because I listened to the 'add four inches to your band' advice I should have been a 32C. I went up to a 32D a year in, and now at a Victoria's Secret or La Senza I will normally take a 32G (but normally 34DDD is what I have to settle for). My most recent purchase at Change Lingerie was a lightly lined in 32I, but this is still less than my 36K mother. Due to the shallowness of my breasts, and of most trans women, I visually look like a typical D, so make sure to get measured in a proper boutique!
I don't know about 2 years, but I'm at a B after 1 year. I feel like they look pretty good, but I keep getting asked if I'm getting an augmentation, so I guess they don't look as good to my family as they do to me. Women in my family are around a D+ though, so I'm holding out hope.
I've also heard not to do the augmentation too soon because they may end up growing afterward and then I find myself too big. And I agree on the appearance/feel of the fake ones. I'd rather have small and real than big and fake.
Mine are 38B almost c. I can't hide them any more but I have only been on HRT for a month. I basically had mine for many years because I was on Spiro for 25 years due the heart problems. Used as diuretic for Congestive Heart Failure. The result was called man boobs by the kids for many years. Since I started the estrogen they appear to be getting rounder, less droopy and I have also doubled my dose of Spiro,
I have been on HRT for 1 year and 3 months.
My breast size is 34A.
My mother is an F cup and most of my female relatives have relatively large breasts.
It doesn't always mean you will also have large breasts, just to throw out a different experience.
According to Victoria's Secret and my own measurements I am somewhere between a 38c to a low d
