I know male and female body hair is different but I was wondering about the change, like once you start transitioning does it eventually turn into the other or would you have to shave or wax the hair after you start for the new hair. Don't know if I'm making sense, lol
Wax tends to change the hair colour. Since u are always looking hair, and from my understanding the hairs will change in thickness and colour

All hair eventually falls out when it reaches its terminal length. It is then replaced by a new hair that starts growing.
Other than the influence of hormones, male and female hair is identical. So given time, HRT alone does what you are looking for. The exception is the face where the influence of testosterone is not reversible. There it triggered the genes to produce thick hairs. Once those genes are triggered on they don't turn off.

Every one says that. But maybe it because I'm young but my lower face hair had turned all white and hardly grow i mostly just got to shave my upper lip. Because that the only dark spot on my face.
With the exception of a few places I've never had much hair, I use to wax my leg hair but after awhile it just quit growing back again
So now it's just my bikini line, armpits and facial hair to be concerned about, so I wax my bits and pits and pluck my facial hair
I only shave once or twice a month anymore
I found after a few months HRT, that after shaving my legs, I still got horrible spiky regrowth. So I thought I'd give the epilator I used before HRT another go and the spikiness has all but gone.
I am guessing it sped up the grow/die cycle of the follicle and the new hair if it came through is much weaker. Smooth legs really is divine.
Waxing would have the same kind of effect I would think but some people get more or less luck with the effects of hrt.
after about a year of hormons my body hair barley grows i shave my arms and legs twice a month but could get away with once a month. my back and chest hair stopped. that was my experence i hope that helps :) also its has gotten significantly softer
All of your body hair will change to feminine patterns & density, even facial hair. Hair on head can also change like it's texture.
My body hair after 4 years is sparse and takes awhile for it to grow back fully. I'm still pretty hairy all around but the hair is lighter at least. I did laser for my facial hair and like when I was finished I had about 90-95% removal. The hairs left behind like upperlip and chin now grow like the rest of the women in my family. I get those hairs waxed and so I stopped shaving my upperlip/face. Pubic hair changed, like the hair where my vaginal entrance would be disappeared. You really notice the changes after you shave consistently or wax. Old hair takes longer to change if you never touch it or doesn't ever really, depends on how receptive you are to E I guess.
