I'm scheduled to have surgery with Dr. McGinn on February 7th. I have already reserved space at the Gaia House starting when I get out of the hospital, and lasting for two weeks. My mom and I are thinking that we'd like to stay near Lower Bucks Hospital starting a few nights before surgery. The plan is for my mom to go check us in to Gaia House the day before I'm released from the hospital, and then drive me there on Friday. Does anyone know of a good hotel near Lower Bucks Hospital?
There is a hotel listed close to Lower Bucks Hospital in Dr. McGinn's packet. It is the Quality Inn in Levittown. Lower Bucks County from East to West, Croydon, Levittown, Trevose, Feasterville and Warminster have nothing of interest.
New Hope is very LGBT friendly as well as across the river in Lambertville. They are tourist traps and pricy.
I was given permission to stay at home after the operation. I will be staying at my sisters which is close.
The Gaia House is a B and B owned by Dr. McGinn.
To save on hotels, ask Dr. McGinn to see if your Mom can stay at the hospital when you have your surgery. I had my friend stay in the room with me and they even fed her 3 meals a day!! The nursing staff at Lower Bucks were wonderful!!
